Not sure how "heavy duty" it is. I would not put a heavy unbalanced trailer on it. Perfect for garden cart. The magnetic bolt is a big plus.

It's a good hitch. But, the bolts were larger than the holes in my mower. So I had to drill them bigger. The spacing of the holes were different than the holes on my mower. So I had to shift it sideways slightly to allow them to line up with a hole and slot on the hitch. All in all, it works. Just not perfect.

Bought for a John Deere Z325E mower. Hitch mounting holes on the hitch are about 3-5mm too narrow to fit easily. I also had to cut the provided bolts to the proper length as they were way too long.In the end I was able to get it mounted and it works However I feel that there was too much effort required for a “universal” fit.

The hitch is well made and very sturdy. I have a John Deere Z315E zero turn and I was able to mount it in about 30 minutes with a couple of modifications.First, I went to Lowes and bought (2) 3/8 x 3/4" hex bolts and a couple of lock washers. The bolts that came with it were way too long for my mower. I also used a metal file and drill bit to widen the left mounting hole on the back of my mower so the bracket would align properly. I was concerned it would look bad and momentarily regretted not buying the OEM kit. However, I was very happy with the appearance once it was mounted. It worked great as I pulled a dump cart full of mulch around the yard.

Although not advertised as such, this hitch is of Husqvarna paint color and matches the predrilled holes on the z246 mower. I had to ream the holes out a bit for the provided mounting bolts to work; otherwise it bolted right on the mower out of the box. The magnetic hitch pin was a nice touch.
