i can’t even describe how i love this lamp. came in perfect condition and with spare lightbulbs. looks gorgeous. i like the dimmer switch that controls brightness. the brightest setting is nice and light. it provides a beautiful glow. SO highly recommend

I am in love with this lamp! It’s so beautiful and creates a great ambience. It’s even more beautiful than the photos. The globe is perfectly round with beautiful striations. The base is very sturdy and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the light switch has a dimmer on it so you can adjust the brightness. I use this as a bedside light and it’s just beautiful! So pleased with this purchase. Great price for a high quality product. Highly recommended!!

Globe is a nice size. The dimmer switch is very nice also. On high, the globe is very warm to touch. We use ours as a hand soother for arthritic winter hands. The globe adds a nice warm glow to our house. Simply beautiful to look at.

This lamp is perfect. Looks beautiful, love the colour of the light (nice warm glow). It's really exactly what I wanted it to be. HOWEVER it makes an electrical noise which is coming from the switch. This is really annoying. Maybe that was only my unit, I don't know. If you don't care about the subtle sound then I'd recommend it, I love it. If you hate constant background noise even if it's subtle then I don't suggest getting it. It's a shame because otherwise this lamp is gorgeous and I don't have any other complaints. If they fix that I'd buy one for each room. That nicely polished spherical shape and the cozy glow really got to me, it's really perfect. Please fix the noise issue and I'll buy more of them!!

I LOVE this lamp SO much! It’s my favourite lamp ever. This is such a good gift too. It’s affordable, the sphere is gorgeous and I use it every single night for a calming light when I get home from work. Love the warm light and ambience it casts.

I’m addicted to these salt lamps, this is the 3rd different brand I’ve purchased. Just got it today and I LOVE it. Almost looks like a glowing planet! The description said used and the package would be damaged but honestly, the lamp looks brand new. There are no nicks or dings in the salt, it feels perfectly smooth. It all so came with a dimmer switch which I wasn’t expecting. The box itself was slightly used looking but still intact. I can’t say for sure if the lamp actually offers the health benefits it’s said to offer but I do know that the ambience alone is very calming and relaxing. It’s gives off a nice warmth as well. It’s somewhat small but a bit heavy. I’m super happy with it, I may get another one for my work desk.

Love the shape, size, wooden base, and adjustable brightness. Gives a beautiful sunset glow to my bedroom without any glaring bright spots. So happy with it! Even came with 2 extra lightbulbs in the box.

Beautiful and warm, but the dimmer switch is really annoying. I use this one now in my bathroom and leave it on 24/7 so I don't have to mess with the switch. The tall one in my bedroom has a simple on/off switch that is positioned on the cord closer to the lamp and is easy to reach and turn off before I go to bed. With this product, the switch is further down the cord. I love all salt lamps and I bought this particular one for the shape, but the design and position of the switch does not make it easy to turn on and off all the time. It does put out more light than my tall lamp, maybe this one comes stock with a brighter bulb. I hope that helps you to make an informed decision.

IT DID NOT INSTEAD THREE DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS IM RANDOMLY INFORMED IN A CASUAL EMAIL BY THE COMPANY THAT MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED....WITH NO REFUND ISSUED. CALLING AMAZON THEY INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS STRANGE AND I INDEED WAS OWED A REFUND(IF NOT AS WELL AN EXPLINATION). SOON AFTER AMAZON SENT THEM A NASTY GRAM I WAS SENT AN EMAIL THAT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT WOULD CONTACT ME. THEY DIDNT. I WAITED FOUR DAYS (MANDITORY IS TWO-THREE) FOR THEM TO GET BACK TO ME AND ANOTHER 3 DAYS BEFORE CALLING AMAZON BACK AGAIN. WELL WE SENT ANOTHER NASTY GRAM AND AGAIN I GOT THE STANDARD SPAM WILL GET BACK TO YOU EMAIL. THEN I GET AN EMAIL FROM SOMEONE NAMED MISSY(NO LAST NAME GIVEN BTW SO NO ACOUNTABLITY ON THEIR BEHALF) STATING THAT THEIR WAS A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM ANDD THEY WERE SORRY. KEEP IN MIND BY NOW ITS JANUARY. THEY ALSO TOLD ME MY ITEM WOULD BE ARRIVE ON JAN 3 FOR CERTAIN. I bought this for the looks and it looks great. I have this globe salt lamp and the basket of rocks lamp. Both are very nice looking, this one isn't actually spherical, more oblate flattened at the poles. The basket of rocks looks like glowing coals on fire. Neither put out significant light, they are for ornamental purposes only. I've gotten many compliments on these lamps so as a purely decorative item they are really great.But ... (Don't read this if you're easily offended or a holistic Himalayan salt worshipper.)The literature accompanying the lamp makes all kinds of ridiculous heath benefit claims. If you're looking for some sort of health benefit from this then don't buy it. Buy it because it's a unique and really nice looking decoration. Apparently the Chinese or Himalayans or whoever has discovered a vulnerability in American gullibility and is marketing to that gullibility.The "negative ions" claim is just silly from a scientific standpoint. Warming up a rock with a nightlight doesn't release anything but a little waste heat and a little light. Nor does it cause it to absorb anything toxic what-so-ever. Sodium Chloride (Salt) is a covalent bonded mineral, it's not altering any of it's atomic bonds with an exposure to a little heat and light. It's not going to pick up an electron from ambient oxygen (or nitrogen or carbon dioxide which are the three principle gasses in air) simply by the energy released from a tiny little 25 watt nightlight bulb. There is no magic photon interaction, there is no mystic holistic health benefit, there is a nice soft glow in an esthetically pleasing ornamental decoration and that's all there is.To give you an idea how ridiculous these claims are I'll cite the literature that comes with the lamp itself. That literature claims that "... there is no salt in the world that compares to Himalayan salt in purity ..." Salt, pure salt with NO impurities at all is a white crystalline mineral. This is not scientifically disputable and there is no ambiguity or subjective interpretation of this simple fact. In it's pure form NaCL (Sodium Chloride- Salt) is a clear white crystal. The orange color of THIS salt is the result of non-salt inclusions that give it the nice orange color. Inclusions are impurities. So the literature is a flat-out lie or it's totally ignorant on the basest possible scale. You can take your pick but that's what you have to pick from.This is a mineral with some pretty dirt dissolved in it and nothing more than that. It won't do anything for anyone's health that they're not doing themselves by auto-suggestion and the relief of psychosomatic symptoms by placebo effect. Now that you've read this you can kiss your placebo effect good-bye and go back to being a self-inflicted psychosomatic whining weakling. If you like the looks of this lamp and it's kin, good for you. If you think you're going to "get healthy" from this lamp you're fooling yourself or allowing some silly and impossible claims to fool you.
