Solid peice, lights up nicely.The only issue I have is that while using the TV remote it sometimes turns the salt lamp of 😳if you want a lamp that really stands out then go for a bigger size, sometimes size does matter 😜

This product came packaged in a box with graphics that advertised the product. After opening the product, is smaller than I expected form my pourchases of other salt lamps. It measures 5" x 3" including the base.I discovered the product has a USB plug to power the light. It does not come with a AC to USB adapter. I plugged the light into the my PC and it cycles through various colors which turns out to be the fade function on the remote. It also comes with a remote. The remote has a lot of buttons. You can control brightness, although I could not see a difference in the brightness settings. On / Off buttons. There are control buttons but they are grey with black writing so they are hard to see that include flash, fade and timer options. Also you can control the color of the light with various red, green and blue settings.I gave this 4 stars because it is smaller than other traditional salt lamps and there isn't an AC adapter so you have to purchase one to make this work.I do recommend this product if you accept the limitations of no AC adapter and a smaller size.

This salt lamp is really cute! I love that it changes colors! It is small, I was very surprised at how small it actually was. I put it in my office which is a small room so the size worked out well for me despite my initial disappointment.The battery on the remote was dead and I had to replace it. The remote does work great. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. I have to wind up switching colors under the R, B etc in order to change to another color in the row. The fade button to the side doesn't work great either. I have to press it hard and several times only for it to work occasionally.I have fairy lights behind the lamp on the wall and I can set them to very similar colors which is nice. It add some warmth to the room at night.I like the lamp but the remote needs some fixing and a good batter upon receiving it would be nice!

Smaller than I anticipated, but nonetheless quite an attractive décor item for my living room. It came with a “fact sheet” that talked about the negative ions and the alleged benefits thereof. Since I had ordered this more for its decorative function than for any perceived improvement in air quality, I was prompted to look up Himalayan Salt lamps on-line. It appears that there are several things one should know about them, not the least being a recommendation that they be left on 24/7, and if not used for any length of time, stored in a tightly closed plastic bag due to their propensity for absorbing moisture from the air.None of this detracts from the overall pleasant appearance of the lamp, albeit a slight colour distortion will be seen due to the inherent colour of the salt rock. My personal preference is to leave it on a neutral white setting and enjoy the natural tone that this radiates.
