Concrete Sleeve Anchors' design allows them to anchor into concrete, brick and block. Turning the nut pulls the working end of the sleeve anchor up through the sleeve, expanding and anchoring itself securely in the base material. Sleeve anchors have many uses including, but not limited to frame installations, electrical and mechanical attachments, and masonry applications.

I used these fasteners to hold a heavy metal steel hose reel to the brick on the side of my house. Easy to use and hold like an anchor. Make sure you have a hammer drill to bore the 3/8" hole if going into masonry.

Anchors with full sleeve vs short wedge sleeve. To this date have not had a full sleeve ever give me trouble locking in.Remember to use a true hammer drill for best results. If you use just a drill with a mason drill bit your hole will be larger than it should be.

It's okay ---- Wouldn't be the best anchor, that is for sure. But it is okay.

Used these to mount some heavy wood lattice to a cinderblock/stucco wall. I could hang my car from it now. You'll need the correct drill bits and wrench. I also used a hammer to get it flush before wrenching it tight.

Purchased to mount heavy iron brackets for a VERY heavy wood mantel in a stone fireplace. Three went into stone, and one went into mortar. The result is a mantel that will last a lifetime and hold anything we care to put on it. No plastic anchors to worry about getting brittle and falling apart 10 years from now. If you've never used these before you should know that the threads will protrude more and more as you tighten the nut until the anchor is snug. They are easily trimmed with a Dremel, and once I "antiqued" them and painted them to match the brackets everything looked great.
