This blanket will be the perfect weight for using during the warmer months. It is well made without fibers dangling out. I washed it and didn't seem to have a lot of shrinkage or color fade despite washing in warm water. While I have a queen size bed our matress is 14 inches thick and a queen sized blanket does not stay tucked in when my tall husband stretches out. This one has plenty of length to keep tucked in and has enough width that my husband can't steal all the covers :).

This blanket is great for hot sleepers and for summer time. Very comfy with an unusual texture but nice enough and cool but not too cool that could make you cold.

First, I love the weight of this blanket. It's a lightweight blanket, perfect for summer. The only issue is how much it shrinks. I read other reviews that complained about the shrinkage, so I ordered a California King for a queen size bed. We have a traditional frame/ box spring/mattress set. Right out of the package the blanket fit like a bedspread, not a blanket. It hung over the sides and foot of the bed about 15+ inches but did not reach the floor, but the corners at the foot of the bed did touch the floor (about 5 to 6 inches worth). Even that extra overhang did not bother me, just looked like a bedspread at that point. I just washed the blanket. I washed in cold water, normal cycle, and then I dried it on low. It shrank a fair amount. The overhang on the sides is now 12+ inches, perfect, and the corners at the foot of the bed are no longer touching the floor. They're just a couple inches shy of hitting the floor now. The perfect amount to tuck. In addition to shrinking, the blanket did fade a touch. Fade is a bit too strong, the color softened a bit, but it's still a nice cornflower blue. I fully believe that if I'd have gotten the queen blanket for the queen bed I'd be upset at the amount it shrank. It wouldn't fit the bed now. But if you order it a size or so bigger than you need, expecting it to shrink, it's really a nice blanket. That being said, wait for it to go on sale, I do not think it's worth $98.

This blanket came quickly. I asked for the light baby blue, but got the darker blue Cornflower. No problem. Still goes. Washed and dried first = lots of lint the first time, so be sure to do that. Blanket is a bit heavier than other woven blankets I have known. Color is lovely, deep and rich Cornflower Blue. Edging hem is well- sewn. No fuzzy threads hanging off the corners. I have a Full mattress but ordered a Queen size blanket and it is big enough to tuck in well at foot and sides. Sufficient for summer, but is not a very lightweight blanket with an open weave. The weave is solid and tight, only a little light comes thru. Using it as a perfect summer bedspread with dust ruffle. Blanket is not particularly warm, ok for summer.

We recently stayed at a hotel and fell in love with the waffle, gray blanket on the bed. We looked at the brand-name and found it on Amazon and ordered it the next day. Well worth the money, super comfy, soft and cozy. Easy to wash and so far three washes later seems to be faring very well.

I like this Blanket even used for overall covering bed lays nice, and made well. No wrinkles after washing. It's the perfect inbetween weather use not too light or heavy.

We used it for a year. I even purchased the California king blanket size for my king bed, but it shrank and with a cover stealer in my bed, I found I often ended up with no covers because it barely reached the sides after washing on the first try. I finally found a waffle weave blanket I like much better than this one.

The weight is perfect, it is soft and a close weave, keeps me warm but breathes so you don’t get sweaty. The width is good but would have liked it a couple inches longer to get a good tuck in at the foot. Very happy with the product!

I have a queen-sized bed but I learned my mistake with my other blanket (not this brand but a Belk brand) that shrunk so I couldn’t tuck it in as I like to do. This king-sized blanket, even after laundering and its shrinking some (yep, it’ll shrink some once you wash and dry it in the dryer), fits my bed with enough left over to tuck in the ends on both sides. There wasn’t a lot of shrinkage. And it didn’t wrinkle but came out of the dryer perfectly ready for my bed.I like the color a lot, sort of a medium to dark khaki. And the waffle weave is nice. I haven’t had a problem with any pulling out of threads or other mars even when I shove in the sides to tuck it in, so it’s durable. Not one pill, pull, or problem after laundering it, making up my bed, and sleeping under it for a week now.This blanket is a little thicker and sturdier than my other blanket from Belk. However, it’s not as soft as the Belk blanket. I hope that with a few more launderings the Hillfair blanket becomes a little softer, but I don’t mind it so much as it is. I prefer the sturdy quality of this Hillfair to the more flimsy Belk blanket, overall, which the Belk was more expensive but thinner and had threads pulling out almost immediately after I placed it on my bed—it shrunk more too.The Hillfair blanket fits my needs perfectly and I’m happy with it. It’ll be good for any time of the year. Thin enough for summer, but thick enough for winter when I use a down comforter and toss off the comforter if it becomes too warm in my room.A good buy with a reasonable price.I’m happy with my purchase! If it were just a little softer, I’d give it 5 stars. If it does soften up after a few more launderings, I’ll be back to report that here.
