This is supposed to be 100% cotton, but there are no tags and it produces static coming out of the bag and pills after one washing, so I'm pretty sure it's synthetic. It also arrived with at least one snag. I really like the color, weight, and overall appearance, but it's too expensive to have so many defects. Sent it back.

I love these blankets! They are soft, and nicely weighted. The blanket washes/drys really well. The green is my favorite color but I want them all! I ended up buying my daughter the gray one. It's a nice color too.No strange smells when opening the package.

So much better than the old crap polyester fake material blankets made from toxic petrochemicals that I’ve been using for too long on the couch and such.This is what real soft feels like vs fake soft.And not like normal cotton shirts thatre kinda rough sometimes this is perfect cotton.I highly recommend the 6 layer because this thing is still very light I wouldn’t want it any lighter.But yet still warm and nice without smothering you.By the way the weighted blanket crap? What is that?? I feel like I’m dying trying to use one of those it’s trash.These keep you light as a cloud and warm. Like nothings even on youBut yet your covered

As described. Soft, lightweight but provides that “layered” warmth. Beautiful color. Washed well and easily. Will be purchasing more!

Surprisingly nice. It’s soft. It’s light weight but is perfect throw to keep you warm while watching tv. It’s going to look good in my blanket basket. The green color is pretty. I was needing a cotton blanket because of allergies. Glad I tried it.

Bottom line: This blanket IT. If you sleep warm but like a bit of weight than what a sheet offers & appreciate cozy softness, I highly recommend it. Get a size up if you move around in your sleep, have a bed partner, or like your bedding to drape more than a few inches. Totally worth it — just bummed there’s no king size.I found this while searching for something 100% cotton to use as our primary bed blanket(s). Our apartment stays about 67° year-round, so we don’t have to change bedding depending on the season (thankfully), but finding good bedding is still a tall order for us. My partner and I are both picky with texture (read: the softer the better), sleep quite hot, and don’t like using a flat sheet.We’ve been using polyester fuzzy blankets for years now, but the polyester contributes to my night sweats and I always have to stick my feet out to regulate my body temp. We just got a new bed & bamboo rayon sheets to go with it, so I wanted to get a new primary blanket as well.We have a waffle weave muslin blanket that isn’t thick enough, but the texture of muslin is really nice, so I went hunting for another 100% cotton muslin blanket that wouldn’t completely let the breeze in.This one, although perfectly breathable, feels very cozy and not at all “drafty.” I knew it would be great as soon as I pulled it out of the package — I feel like an adult-sized swaddled baby!It has no smell to it right out of the box, but I tossed it in the wash anyway (no fitted sheets = blanket in direct contact with skin). I used the delicate cycle on both the washer & dryer, put 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar in the washer’s fabric softener compartment for extra softness, dried with some wool dryer balls — it should hold up just fine for many more washes to come!Note: I got two nearly-identical blankets at the same time from different sellers, and find this one to be softer & cozier than the other (emme, also six layers, beige, same weave, everything). The neutral beige of this one is also richer and less washed-out looking than the other, it’s very pretty. Both pics are of this blanket, just in different lighting.My only complaint is that it’s not offered in a larger size. Our bed is a queen, and the biggest one offered here (80x90?) only drapes a couple inches over each side, so there’s not much slack to be had if you or your bed partner moves around while sleeping. I actually ended up ordering yet another one from a third seller because they offer a king sized one (it’s not here yet so I can’t comment on how they compare).This one is still worth it though, even if it gets sent to the couch in lieu of a larger version. The best part: my partner has always preferred to sleep with a fuzzy blanket, but when I put this one on our bed, he was completely sold on muslin. We slept really comfortably. That’s a huge win in my book :)

The color is perfect and it is lightweight. A bit thinner than I expected but will still work. It’s soft and breathable so it should be cooler for the hot summer nights.

Over the summer I bought a light weight king size muslin blanket for my bed and I really enjoyed it , because it kept my husband and I quite comfortable all summer long . Unfortunately there were times I needed a smaller version of the blanket , but since most of these blankets are so expensive I didn't buy one until recently when I found these blankets on sale. Honestly I was a bit hasatent to buy the small blanket, because I was afraid it would end up smaller than I was expecting. Anyway I took the chance and after opening it than putting it on my queen size bed to see how big it was, I found it's a nice size blanket .. It would probably be perfect for a twin size bed! As far as Quality they seem to be put together quite nicely and the material is exactly what it says it is . Now When I was looking at it I noticed that they stitched across the blanket at first I thought it was a flaw in the product, but after seeing two more stiches and their placement I realized it was to keep the layers in the center from separating when you wash it ..So if you see that too just know it has a purpose ! Lol Just know the colors of these blankets are probably going to be a bit lighter color in person than what the product photos show . I bought The Green one and its much lighter in person however it is still a pretty color. As far as washing it did great in the wash .. I washed them in cold water than tossed them in the dryer afterwards and I didn't see much shrinkage. Overall I'm very pleased with the two green blankets bought, they are a nice lightweight super soft blanket (they get softer in the wash ) and I think they will be perfect for summer or a warm winter Day in Texas! Lol I will definitely be buying a few more of these in other colors !
