These work great! I used them to retrofit CAN Bus controlled seats from and E90 BMW into a vintage car. They act to trick the module so they don’t time out as otherwise you would have to cut power to adjust the seats after being powered up for 10 or so seconds.

Bypass garage door sensors and it works so well. Use extreme caution when bypassing any safety device. Not recommending if you have pets or children. Many other uses for the 4 units remaining.

Great little device, stable frequency generator with one caveat: you can't adjust duty cycle completely independently of frequency like you can with more expensive devices sold here. If you adjust frequency the duty cycle is affected. If you adjust duty cycle the frequency is affected. If that's not a problem in your application these are great little devices for the money.

There's no documentation provided, but it's easy to find the circuit online or simply to trace it out. Obviously the two adjustment pots are not independent, and achieving any specific timing takes a decent oscilliscope and patience, but for rough work you don't need this. I glued two metal pins (power & ground) into the holes provided for mounting, wire wrapped them to the already existing power pins, and these guys now plug perfectly into a standard breadboard.

I checked low range and high range operation. I was able to to get 550khz output with 12 volt input, but the card was getting a little warm after 5 minutes. The photo shows 200Khz and close to 50% on and the card runs cool. The quality for such a low cost item is what was surprising. The adjustment screws are smooth and no jumps in the output.

I just happen to have one of these for another electronic experiment. When a power surge blew out the infrared sensor (R/X) boards, I went YouTube looking for answers to bypass them while I waited on new ones. I found a guy that actually used this little board to do that. I installed this board just like he said and it worked perfectly. It has a 555 timing circuit that must be sensed by the main board for the garage door opener to work. This was a great temporary fix!

This is a nice NE555 circuit board with all the accouterments added for using the 555 IC for a myriad of projects. Depending on your application using this pre-made module will save you time and money. Merely changing a jumper gives you a tremendous frequency range. This 5 piece set is a good price compared to shopping around on Amazon for the exact same module. Sometimes, on Amazon, you can find different combinations of this 555 module with some needed bread board or wiring sets that you might not have in stock on your electronics work bench. This module deserves a rating of 5 for its superior design and excellent workmanship. However, I gave this item a lower rating because THERE WAS NO DATASHEET included. I mean how hard would it have been to include one single piece of paper with the wiring diagram and jumper and trimmer pot adjustments?!!!. I have attached just such information via photographs I found while shopping on Amazon.

Works just as a 555 circuit should, the adjustment pots should be labeled as Ra, Rb, as the 555 data sheet shows, as these control time high and time low, both togather control frequency and duty cycle. before purchasing take a look at a 555 datasheet to better understand the function of the two adjustments.I have used HiLetgo products before, the always work great. They just need better instruction and data sheets.
