Haven't had this display 2 months barely used and its getting stripes in one side of it that are getting progressively worse Lasted just past the return policy time. This is the second item ive had issues with from HILETGO so im going to let go and not buy anymore of their items .

It looks great when I touch the cable from the screen to the board. Easy to setup and get library for. I am requesting replacement so hopefully the second comes in without problems. The failure rate on small screens like this is insane... This is the third type I am trying. This one I am just hoping a replacement fixes the issue.I tried it again later and discovered the top level README info has the wrong pinouts... find them in the example code and it works great on both Uno and Nano.SD card works well too!

Plugged it into the Arduino Uno correctly. Installed the library. Ran the test sketch. Zip, nada, nothing!!! Tried several other things. Absolutely worthless and a waste of time and money.

I hooked this up to an Arduino Nano clone and it works very well! Both the display and the SD card reader. The SD card reader took me a bit to figure out, but going to lcdwiki dot com and scroll down to SKU:MAR2201 there's a wealth of information!

Overall good board quality and works as advertised. One thing to note since it is LCD the contrast/brightness isn't great for outdoor use (using as a battery monitor for my esk8) that said for a 2.2" display it looks pretty nice.

I have bought several of these colour TFT displays for my Arduino projects. They work great and provide clear sharp text and graphics.

More than what expected but at the same time, SD was not wired. Had to dig for correct wiring.

It is a nice display. Worked as announced as an arduino hat with software SPI and analog pins. Was not able to use it with hardware SPI on ESP32 but did work with software SPI plus some extra pins. With Duemilanove it work with both hardware and software SPI (plus needed extra pins). The libraries used were the standard TFT_22_ILI9225 ones installed from standard arduino IDE library manager. The board seems to need more pins than the standard SPI MISO, MOSI, SCLK and CS. Giving only 3 stars as it just not only need SPI signals but requires additional RST and RS

Works fine. Use it for a weather station project.

Nice display, used with "GitHub - Nkawu/TFT_22_ILI9225: Arduino library for 2.2" TFT display"

Display arrived very well packed in a cardboard box. I tried it with an stm32f103 board (Blue Pill), and it worked fine with hardware SPI at 18MHz. Not as common as the ST7735 devices, but it is easy to fnd information, and you get more pixels. Seller offered to provide information, but I didn't need to take them up on it - I used the Nkawu library mentioned by another reviewer (datasheet can be found online too). There is a voltage regulator on board and the lines to the display are buffered, so it could be used with 5V processors too. There are no level shifters on the SD card signals, though, so I would not recommend using this functionality with 5V devices. There is a space on the board where an SPI Flash (or RAM) chip could be soldered. It takes the same signal lines as the SD card and these chips generally don't like 5V signals either. All in all, it was very good value and ideal for my project.

Bought 3 of these modules, they will only work on a very slow software SPI interface and will not work when using the faster hardware SPI of a Arduino or any other MCU.Tested the modules using Arduino UNO, NANO and PIC MCU's, no response with SPI hardware operation.
