The display works just fine.. just heads up.. the library is not Adafruit it uses u8g2 library..Enjoy.

Replaced a .96" 128x64 OLED with this 1.3" version. This new display giives me nothing but a garbled mess.

This one worked well and the larger size was easier to read. I ordered 2 more after testing this one out but both of those were defective. The text had black horizontal lines through them one was worse than the other. I would caution against this product. The 2nd two were also poorly packaged.
