    1.Click OK in prompts for permissions

    2.If no prompts, turn on OTG in Android settings. Re-plug camera

    3.If screen is black, click gear icon and Upgrade Device

  • Thermal cameras can pattern objects behind the surface of walls, ceilings and floors, only if the objects are in different temperatures. Usually, it happens. If a thermal camera gives a contrasted image, you should look for moisture and damage signs

  • It’s a normal process. The camera periodically calibrates to optimize image quality and measurement accuracy. The image briefly paused while hearing a "click". It’s more frequent during start as the detector warms up, or in cold or hot environments.

Works as intended out of the box. Betrifft: HIKMICRO Mini2 Wärmebildkamera AndroidHat auf Anhieb reibungslos funktioniert, die von einigen Kunden berichteten Softwareprobleme mit App-Abstürzen habe ich auf meinem Samsung Galaxy S8 mit Android 9 nicht. Die Dokumentation der Funktionen der App dürfte ausführlicher sein; was z.B. bewirkt die Entfernungseinstellung? Die Mini2 hat doch ein Fix-Fokus-Objektiv / ist "fokus-free"?Ich bin begeistert von der Möglichkeit, mein (ungedämmtes) Heim selber beliebig oft und zu beliebigen Zeitpunkten auf Schwachstellen (Wärmebrücken) untersuchen zu können. Die Auflösung und die Refreshrate (25 Hz) reichen mir völlig aus. Manchmal wirken die Bilder "unscharf", anscheinend vor allem in Situationen mit nur geringen Temperaturunterschieden innerhalb des Bildausschnitts. Stört mich nicht zu sehr. Die Hikmicro Mini2 erweitert die eigenen Sinne quasi um einen Wärmesinn, und die neuen Sichten und Möglichkeiten, die sich daraus für einen - gemessen am gewonnenen Mehrwert - recht günstigen Preis selbst für den Nicht-Profi ergeben, faszinieren und begeistern mich.

I use this hooked upto my labtop so I can have on a projector. This works great for teaching physics students (and astronomy students) about the electromagnetic spectrum. Nice resolution and perfect size.

I purchased this smartphone thermal imaging module a few days ago and it really impressive me. It has brought a whole new level of functionality and experience to my phone. It captures high-definition thermal images of the surrounding environment, which is very useful for night-time exploration and home inspection. The function is fun you can adjust color plattes, image contrast, temperature etc. The operation of this module is simple. Just connect it to your phone, open the corresponding app, and you can start using it .The design is exquisite. It is lightweight and portable, seamlessly integrating with the phone without adding too much weight or bulk. I can carry it with me wherever I go, better than traditional hanheld imagers.

This is a very nice thermal camera. I work as a industrial contactor, and the little camera is as nice as my industrial camera, as far as the picture is concerned. I also do a lot of car repair as a hobby/second job, were the camera helps in diagnostic work. The camera will not show you real temperature numbers, but I don't need it that ability. The water pump picture is of a new water pump that was inside the house going to a cold garage. The clarity is first class. It is also very useful for finding cold spots in the house( missing insulation), air leaks around doors, etc.

Simple yet useful thermo camera - works great for the price.Android app written well (I'm developer myself) and works flawlessly.Camera gives (pretty precise, considering price) thermo picture revealing hot spots and heat loss (around house openings, electric boxes, ceiling exhaust fans, etc)

I really like this camera. It is a cheaper option than the more expensive ones out there and it works great for my purposes. I use this camera to determine bee hive locations in buildings. It helps me pinpoint the hive location and how big it is before I open up the space. It works great and allows me to be prepared for what I am going to find when I open it up to relocate the hive.

This is a great camera at a great price. I downloaded the app and just plugged in the camera and it gave me the thermal images to show me what areas in my home definitely needed better insulation. My energy bills are too high so I'm very pleased with the images. Make sure to go into settings and change the temperature reading to either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Also the refresh rate on this camera is much higher than anything else for the price. I'm very pleased
