***Update***I contacted Hikari support and had a brand new set of resistors in about 3 days... Absolutely amazed at the great response and and rapid shipping. Very easy to deal with. Great Customer support!I have ran Hikari H13s on my truck now for almost 3 years. I am now on my third set. the first set lasted almost 2 1/2 years. now I've gone through 2 sets in the last six months. every time one of the decoders goes bad while the other works great. Unfortunately I prefer to run Hikari decoders with the Hikari LEDs so that leaves me to looking at buying another set. Seem as though it is an occasional manufacturer defect or something, as I've had good and bad luck with them. When they work, they are flawless, but as soon as one goes bad you are looking at one bulb that works great and the one with the bad decoder is either flickering, or not on at all, or on with high and low beams at the same time...Still a big fan of the LEDs as they are a great product and have amazing light output. however their Decoder line could definitely use some work.

There's no positive lock-up when you attach to the cars headlight connector. The tab that is supposed to catch is very loose, and these just slipped out of the connector from the minor vibrations of the engine running. As such, have to use electrical tape to secure them from falling out while driving. The other side that connects to the Hikari LED headlight is a much tighter fit, but also doesn't seem to lock in place. Will be using electrical tape on that side of the connection as well to be on the safe side.

I tried a cheaper brand that was recommended to me by the company whose led lights a bought. that brand was a waste of time and money. it didn't even plug into my factory harness nor did it latch onto the the led lights connector. it pulled loose with little effort. ordered these ones to replace those ones so i can fix my led light flicker issue on my 05 durango. these ones plugged in with no issues and are locked into place. I was worried a little because i have Fahren led lights and not the hikari brand. so i didnt know if it would still work, but its does and it works great.

These light bulbs are very bright and the pattern is very precise as advertised. Excellent product. Only problem is the connectors do not click tight. Had to use zip ties to secure them

So i was actually researching a lot before purchasing these anti flicker kit for my Jeep patriot15, most anti flicker kits are rated in 3 to 4 stars so it is a matter of buying and actually testing it out yourself to see what best fits your needs. I went ahead and purchased these in the beginning of January and i have waited almost 3 months to review this product. I was a bit skeptical given some reviews were stating that they do not last and some even burn out. However, I have to say that this is not the case, in my experience, this Hikari anti flicker kit works exactly as intended. Given that many Jeep owners have this experience with LED's flickering this product works, i waited 3 months on purpose to see if they actually work and I have yet to run into a problem with them. And they do not run hot, i have driven my car hours and popped open the hood to see if they get hot and the hottest they get is perhaps a lukewarm temp. I am pleased and satisfied with this product. If perhaps they do run hot I hooked a zip tie on the cable and attached it to the body frame also i reinforced where the wires meet the adapter with eletrical tape.

It was easy to install. It’s not rocket science just need to have a little common sense. These Lights are way more superior then any other and work really well with reflective lights. I’ve used many different types of Led lights like Xenon and SGNL and found out they have dark spots and get very hot. These bad boys don’t. I put these lights and converted my 08 Dodge Ram to full LED and these lights are Beast. Can wait to install a set in my 2015 Ford Explorer Sport.

The good - The light is definitely impressive! I’ve only driven around the block a few times to try them but I’m very happy with the brightness and the pattern. I thought I might get hi-beamed from the few cars I passed but nobody flashed me. I used them on a 2013 Jeep JK Wrangler. The Jeep is known for very poor headlights. I was looking at more expensive options with aftermarket headlamps (jw speaker, trucklite etc...) and I’m glad I went with these. A fraction of the price and I can see!3 reasons for only 4 stars1) I had to buy the Canbus due to the Jeep problems with flickering. The snap connections just didn’t give me the confidence that they were snapped in properly or that dirt and water wouldn’t get in.2) The packaging claims adjustable beams. Nowhere in the instructions is this explained. Google it many different ways and find nothing. Nothing in the Q&A.3) The bulb is supposed be sitting 3 o’clock / 9 o’clock or OlO but the bulb is not able to snap in tight at that position. Maybe this is due to the adjustable beam??? Not sure but can’t find info. I may call tomorrow. The free shipping was super fast and the email for customer support was nice. Makes me feel like the customer service will be excellent. Thanks HIKARI, very happy.

I bought this item along with the bulbs they sell. Everything worked great for the first month or so. After that while on a trip to the mountains in the middle of the night and very foggy one of my lights stopped workimg. Luckily i had my old OEM bulbs and a couple tools to replace them. I can only imagine how unsafe it would have been for me and my family if i didnt have the spare. After i remove the bulb and this conversion kit from my truck i notice one of the cables attached to the connection had comed off completely off the socket and the other 2 were very loose. I checked the other side to make sure it was safe (in freezing temps, foggy and dark), luckily the other set was fine.I would like to the manufacturer to cantact me and make this right. I dont ask for anything more than a replacement set of this LED conversion kit so i can use my LED bulbs again. Hopefully that was the problem.
