I purchased this product in March 2023. It failed after a year of not a lot of use. The description states that there’s a warranty. I have requested this from the seller. Will update if they do replace it. But going forward, I will not purchase this again.

Like that there was quick delivery in order to bring production back in shop. Have used several of these over the years and product is very durable.

Used in an old electric ceramics kiln converted to a gas-powered salt kiln. The pyrometer was easy to read with a face shield on and appeared to have read accurately as the temperatures aligned with our cone packs. It was an added bonus to be able to move the probe around to check for temperature differences between the top and bottom of the kiln.

This works well for pottery firing. We had some questions about the temperature of firing and whether we needed a heavier cable. The company got back to us the same night and said the cable we have will work well for the firing we are doing. The digital readout is much easier than the temperature gauge we had on the old pyrometer.

I purchased this pyrometer in order to monitor my kiln closer for glass work and it has been excellent. The pyrometer is accurate and the thermocouple is a good length. Item shipped and arrived in timely manner and in good condition. Works great. I was considering a digital built in pyrometer for my kiln but got this as an interim, but I don't think I'll get the built in after all. I only use this for glass firing and it is easy to store and take in and out as needed. Very pleased with the product.

This is my second digital pyrometer from K2. I had my first for 5 years and it functioned flawlessly until I had a mishap that broke it. I fire porcelain regularly for my wife and the K2 pyrometer is one of the most reliable products I have used. The numbers are large and easy to read. It is simple to use and works every time.

The pyrometer plays a vital role in maintaining the correct temperature inside one's forge when heat treating or preparing steel in the making of custom knives. I chose the K2 above lesser models partially due to the high ratings, plus the availability of technical information from the manufacturer. It is accurate and dependable.
