Worked fine for a few weeks, but now not functional with any SD card, all of which work fine w/o the adapter. Absolute junk, beware.

This adapter gave me concern from the first use because the metal casing on the unit I got was clearly not attached well, meaning the outer casing is not tight and secure. Therefore, it sticks out, which causes the adapter to sometimes hang up in the SD slot making it sometimes a challenge to remove. It is a cheap adapter, but that should not give the manufacturer an excuse for poor quality controls. Disappointed.

Getting a solid 26MB/s copying the Win11 ISO from Microsoft which is 5.4 GB in size. Time was ~2.5min to copy it on exFAT formatted Micro Center 128GB micro SD card.The same ISO file copied to an exFAT formatted Micro Center 128GB USB drive took almost 7 minutes... what is up with that!!??Anyway, I'm VERY satisfied with the speed of this CF adapter!!!

I originally bought the DUEL micro SD adapter and didn't realize it until after it arrived. While that one worked I had more use for and need of this single SD card adapter. BOTH WORK GREAT in my new to me old Canon XTi.Easy to open, easy to use, easy to set up🤷...with one teeny tiny ehh🤨 The adapter SD slot IS tight! Not too tight that anything is damaged but if you DONT have strong finger nails use the old scotch tape trick to pull it out😁Both my 2 & 4 GB SanDisks work great. Just use the camera to format it and off you go for THOUSANDS of pics. No crazy CF card reader, no wired to the PC, just using my SD built in reader😎♥️For the price of this adaptor I could have gotten a 16gb CF card...but then I'd have to go with all I mentioned just to get the pictures of of it🤣

The ideal of using SD cards with CF adapter in cameras using is great! CF cards are so expensive, some run as high $65.00 per card. The adapter worked find, the problem was removing the adapter from the camera, it wouldn't come cleanly out of the camera! It took several try to removal, as a photographer you need removal to fast clean, plus may damage your camera.

I bought 2 of these along with a CF to PCMCIA adaptor to use some spare SD cards for adding storage to some old laptops. These worked perfectly. They did not add any latency whatsoever. Windows XP detected it as 1 drive, but Win98 recognized the drive as two identical drives, so you can just ignore one of the two.
