don't know what i was thinking about 8" forceps. i'll be able to reach into the fish's gullet with these bad boys. claim they're stainless steel with anti corrosion finish. guess time will tell but right now they appear to operate flawlessly. the ratchet system locks up tight. the curved jaws should be helpful removing buried hooks.

These are exactly as I expected them to be. They click into place and securely hold. Very easy to release. A high quality tool. I use them in my sewing room to grab stuffing to push into tight corners. I expect these to last a long time.

Precise and easy to use forceps. I have repurposed them for minor food fragment removal in the deep end of the palate where discomfort is high. Due to the ease of using them and their versatility they have saved my family more than a trip to the ER.

The quality is bad, they rust fast and I learned not to save money on these kinda things. Pay a little more and get some nicely made items

A lot larger than you would think for sewing. The forceps are actually 11 inches long.
