I bought this because it was recommended by Wirecutter—which I usually find to be a slam dunk in terms of satisfaction with purchase. In this case, the product does not fit the bill at all because it is smaller than described. The measurements in the description are from the outside of the pan—not the inside. So the interior is much shallower than I expected, rendering it useless for deep dish casseroles like lasagne. Shame on seller and shame on Wirecutter for this. Also the seller does not provide a return shipping label and the cost of shipping it back exceeds the cost of the items. Very lame.

Awesome, even cooking and easy to handle. Looks great for serving as well - I went back and got a second one for baking appetizers.

This pan was a best pick by America's Test Kitchen, and I see why. Love the handles. They make it so easy to remove the pan from the oven. Love that it's a bit deeper than most pans its size. Pleased that it can be used under the broiler for top browning. And best of all, an absolute snap to clean. I fixed really sticky baked beans in it. Soaked it overnight and it practically all just rinsed off. I've had quite a lot of HIC bakeware in the past and always liked it. This pan rockets my opinion up another several notches.

A really good looking and well sized dish, delivered almost immediately!! The only reason it has been given 4 stars instead of five is that it is rather heavy; I need to find a cabinet for it that is not above the fridge.

it is smaller than my pyrex 13x9 glass pan, but i love this white porcelain pan, i love the handles which make it easy to carry, take out of the oven with no worries. it can be used for any casserole, roasting meats and veggies and baking cakes, not just for lasagna. it is a top quality product, nothing has stained it. it's easy to clean and it is non-stick. it is such a nice looking serving piece, it can go from oven to table....what more could i ask of a pan that does so much and is so reasonably priced? another plus, it's recommended by america's test kitchen.

I found this pan for $12 here on Amazon. What a deal! Bakes food so nicely and the handles are extremely comfortable. It measures 9 by 13 to the outside, top edge of the porcelain (excluding the handles). I measured my Pyrex 9 x 13 too because this HIC dish fits inside of it. My "9x13" Pyrex is actually a bit larger than 9 x 13 even though I have called it a "9x13" pan all of my life. The white porcelain also is a nice contrast with the baked food. It holds 3.5-quarts of water when filled to the brim.

I bought this so I could finally use the broiler to melt cheeses on casseroles, but I find I am using it for anything baked. The handles are very well positioned and give a nice sturdy grip even with the bulkiest of oven mitts. I was worried about having a white pan because of the large amount of tomato products I use that tend to stain anything porous. But it not only resists staining, it is SO easy to clean, even easier than the Pyrex pans I used to use all the time. If I could, I would replace all my Pyrex baking dishes with other versions of this pan. One side note - it does take extra space in storage with those handles. but so worth it for their added convenience in cooking.

Recommended by ATK (America's Test Kitchen) this little work-horse has been an awesome addition to the kitchen. It butters nicely, keeps casseroles and lasagne from sticking, and cooks it perfectly. Easy to hold, move from oven to table, as it's not too heavy. Finish looks great on the table; I haven't had anything overcook yet (too soft in middle too done on edges either)! It's also a nice pan for cooling the rice krispie treats, as the glossy finish helps keep treats from sticking. Glad ATK recommended, I'm not scared to make oven dishes anymore!

This is a really good pan for casseroles, lasagna, etc. It has generous handles so it's easy to take in/out of the oven & it's pretty enough to serve from at the table. It goes through the dishwasher & comes out perfectly clean. My only complaint is that I wish it were a bit deeper. I like to make a thick lasagna & it comes right to the top edge & then bubbles over a bit in the oven. I always place a piece of foil on the rack under it while baking. It is oven, microwave & broiler safe which makes it a more versatile pan than the Pyrex. The Pyrex cannot go under the broiler. My Pyrex dishes do not last as long as they used to; they tend to chip really easily these days since they changed the glass ingredients. This is the pan recommended by America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Illustrated.

My first one arrived in pieces, poorly packed. The replacement was packed better and in one piece. It is really a great baking dish Just treat it gently; and it will last forever. Eventually, they will get smart and quit sending poorly packaged pans; but that is not your problem. Amazon has a great and swift return policy. Go Amazon!I love how it handles, its weight, the handles, and the dimensions.
