I use calipers regularly for inspection work with my job. The case for our Mitutoyo 8" digital caliper was long since broken and held together by packing tape. It looked unprofessional when out on a job. I was surprised to find so many options and selected this one for the rapid shipping. I really like the compact fit. I may line the case with some adhesive velvet for added protection, but this is way better than the case from the OEM that was more of a universal fit and we had to use some bubble wrap to keep the equipment from bouncing around.

I needed a case to keep from damaging my calipers and this does the job. Good basic, no problems, good to go, works fine.

I had bought a caliper at Walmart. wasn't really needing super quality. I needed a case and this one fit the bill, works great.

Decent quality, looks like it would fit most dial or digital calipers. One of my cases got damaged and this is a replacement.

Did what its supposed to do. Holds calipers. Latching mechanism is strong enough, and the case is rigid.

Fits my Insize 6" digital caliper pretty well for a generic case, close enough to transfer the original foam inserts over from the old box, because the ceiling of the inside of this case doesn't have very good impact protection. Problem is, when I opened my new case, it creaked. My last plastic case cracked apart at the hinges. Hinges creaking in a new plastic case is a warning sign that it isn't long for this world. This is due to a subtle misalignment at the hinges or overtensioning creating undue stress points. I returned it. Make sure you do the free shipping option in case you also get a fatefully flawed case. I would have been happy to exchange it for a different one, but that didn't seem to be an option. Starrett, here I come
