So at the top of the holder the thread was counter bored too deep and the straight part of the end was too long to fit into a standard NMTB 30 Taper. Had to grind off part of the top so it would fit. Plus the finishes were rushed, you could see they wanted to see how many they could possibly make in 1 minute! It works but I would not recommend it, you can do better.

This is an nmtb 30 toolholder, it's taper is decently done makes very good contact in the taper of my bridgeport spindle. I was looking for an nmtb30 toolholder for the erikson qc30 on my bridgeport but the flange diameter ended up being about .05" too large, a dial the flange thickness was also to large by about .04". That being said I was able to turn this down between centers. This tool body is hardened but it is still possible to hard turn it with carbide, which is what I did. So after adjusting the flange and setting it up in the spindle. I put my interapid dial test indicator on the jt33 taper to test runout. My test indicator resolution is .0005" and I couldn't get the needle to move at all, if it did I'm guessing maybe there is .0001-.0002" of runout but my test indicator needle didn't move at all. So as far as quality for the price, it seems to be well worth it. I should mention the because I have a qc30 spindle, I have no draw bar, so I cannot attest to how the tool would function if it were held by a drawbar versus being in the qc30 holder. Either way hope this helps someone understand what they are getting, not a perfect fit for a qc30 but can be modified with the correct tooling.

Garbage..yes only 30 dollars..not usable, the draw bar threads are wrong probably metric, not harden at all the steel is as soft as mild steel.

Exactly as ordered. Had to chase the drawbar threads. Approximately 1/2" too shallow on this one. Once done, works perfectly. Very low runout, too.

Not an NMTB30 arbor. OD of shoulder is too large for NMTB30. This is a QC30 arbor.
