Our lawn has a wavy border, which looks great but makes setting the nozzles a hassle. These let me set them up so the water would spray around the "corners" that pre-set nozzles couldn't reach. Well worth it.

This is not a miracle water problem solver, but it helps. Changing yard layouts and flower beds can cause an ideal sprinkler layout to be less than ideal. Sometimes there is no choice but to call the sprinkler guy and get some lines rerouted with new heads--or if you are that handy (I'm not) then rerouting yourself. This sprinkler head may fix some problems. For me, I believe it at least helped a lot in one location and somewhat in another. I think one key may be that you have sufficient water pressure to get the most out of these "big drop" heads. In any case, the cost is low enough to be worth a try. I have several left over that I plan to use here and there to improve the water flow where I can't fix a problem by just running a zone longer.
