I use this for cleaning the rust from my water softener globes rust stains on sinks, laundry and cooking. It is perhaps the best safe solution I have found.

I use this stuff for rust removal - a couple of ounces in a bucket of hot water, leave rusty stuff in it overnight or longer as needed and the rust comes off easily with a scrub.

Love this stuff. Bought a house which is on well water. Previous owner let the commode turn orange from the minerals. Used this several times along with a little scrubbing and patience and I now have a clean toilet bowl. I treat it weekly so stains don’t come back. I actually put it in the tank too. Slimmy Mineral build up has gone too!

I had seen on the Internet that this could be used to remove stubborn rust and hard water stains from toilets and sinks. I was a little cynical; I have tried some other "miracle cleaners" without much success. I was surprised that this really does work. I added very hot water to some crystals to make a paste. It doesn't take much water to get the consistency you will want. I then put on rubber gloves and spread this on the stubborn rusty stains in an old toilet. I used a sheet of plastic wrap over the paste to keep it in place and waited as directed, then went back and scrubbed the stains with a pumice stone as I rinsed with hot water. Whoa! Most of those stubborn stains came right off, and I mean GONE. So yes, it WORKS.

I don't know that I will use this entire bag before my life ends, lol, but it is useful for so many things, maybe I will discover a few more as I work through this bag. Right now, my use is limited to added tang in recipes, especially for replacing small amounts of lemon, and for keeping berries I freeze a bit more colorful after they are thawed. Now that I have so much, I don't hesitate to apply it to potatoes or fruits I have sliced to prevent them from discoloration as I prepare other elements of a recipe.This powder is grainy, like salt, but a coarser ground. I don't have any other brand to compare it to but for my limited uses, it is perfect.
