Great value for the amount of treats/cheas. My dog loves these and takes them no issue. We give them in the lead up to evening/bed time and this really does calm her down ready to get in her crate. Seem good quality and no issues with her eating these so can imagine they taste nice… for a dog.

Okköbi Hemp Calming Chews - 200pcsWe have two 1.5yr old Frenchies, one of which is an absolute nut job. She runs everywhere in the house, rather than walks, and when we take them for a walk, she is constantly pulling on the lead, as though all she wants to do is get back home again, so when the opportunity came for me to try these chews, I was hoping they would calm her down a little. These Hemp Calming Chews arrive in a large plastic tub. According to the weight instructions on the back of the pot, she should have 2 chews per day, so this pot will last just over 3 months. I’ll have to give the calmer Frenchie a different treat while I’m giving Nut Job these calming chews, so she doesn’t feel left out. It’s too early to say whether the chews are helping at the moment, I can say that she is enjoying them, and I’ll definitely come back with an update at a later date.At the time of writing this review the Calming Chews cost £22.97. I am more than happy to recommend this product. As always, I have added a few photos to this review which I hope you find helpful.

When I was a brand new dog owner, I bought a range of tools for grooming my dog, including a nail clipper with a safety guard to ensure that it never cuts too much, a nail grinder and a fur attachment tool for my Dyson vacuum cleaner. I intended to handle all the grooming tasks by myself. The only trouble is that my dog wouldn't let me near her with any of those. I tried to force the issue, but once I felt her trembling as I was using the Dyson attachment, I was done. I packed it all away and began taking her to Pet Smart for all grooming-related activities. The groomer at Pet Smart was excellent with my dog, and I went there for nearly a decade. Last month I went again, only to find that they had a new groomer. She took my dog to the back room, and within a few minutes she came out and told me that my dog was "too jumpy." This was not news, at all. "That's why I bring her to you," I told her. I then took my dog to another groomer who lived about 1 hour away, who got the job done. So, I needed a new plan. That's where this product comes in. The idea is to give my dog these, and it will make her calm down, allowing me to use the various grooming equipment I have, without causing her much distress. Because I just had her groomed, I have no need to do it just yet. But I wanted to test the product immediately. Each 'calming chew' is about 3-4 times the size of my German Shepherd's regular kibble, and hence it was easy to pass them off as a treat to my dog. I gave her two chews (my dog is about 65lbs, hence two chews are recommended; for dogs up to 25 lbs, only one chew is recommended, three chews are recommended for dogs between 76-99 lbs and four chews are recommended for dogs over 100 lbs).I made sure that I was going to be home all day long, to monitor my dog and see how she reacted to it. I am pleased to report that she was indeed mostly indolent and inactive all day, first laying in her bed in the living room, then going to her more private bed in my bedroom. I only plan to give her these when I am grooming her, as I like my dog to be active and by my side at her option.

I got a little crazy and made columns of several different Calming Chews from Amazon. I compared ingredients & mg per. These had the effective ingredients I was looking for and the highest level of milligrams of those ingredients per chew. Since our dog is under 25 lbs she only needs one of these according to the labels serving size. There are 200 in this generous sized container so they will last for a long time. Evidently the duck flavor tastes delish because our dog tries to snatch them from me. She was actually begging before I finished opening the Amazon package. Our dog is a rescue and she is afraid of everything, even a new water bowl. It must feel awful to be that nervous throughout the day so I wanted to try these. About an hour after I gave her the first time chew she was literally so chill she seemed stoned. lol. She even looked like she was spacing out. I was a little worried that maybe I should have started out with 1/2 chew. But I have been giving her a whole chew every other day since and she was never quite as chillaxed as she was the first time around. With that said, she is a little braver. She has used the portable steps we bought for her to get up into the bed every day since giving her these chews. She was too afraid to use the steps without guidance and reassurance before. We are so proud of her. I'm glad we are able to help her with these chews.

We have a couple of older (11-12 year old) dogs. They each have their own anxiety quirks. One is a boxer and one a pit. I gave them 2 each which is a low dose for their weight but I am chincy and don't want to waste them. They seemed to be pretty chill. They are both pretty lazy when we are at home and nothing going on. So it may be a little hard to tell. I will mostly use these to help calm the old man's excitement turned bullish behavior when we travel. He loves to go so much he turns into the incredible hulk trying to get to the car and is hard to manage. I will return with an update if these chill him out enough to restore him to his normal gentlemanly self when we are out and about.

The Hemp Calming Chews for Dogs Anxiety 200 pcs seem to be a popular option for pet owners looking to help manage their dog's stress and anxiety. With 200 pieces in a pack, it provides a great value for money, especially for owners of multiple dogs or those looking for a long-term solution. Many dogs enjoy the beef flavor, which helps make the chews more appealing, especially if your dog is picky with their treats. The inclusion of hemp and melatonin is commonly used for their calming and stress-relief properties, making it a natural choice for dogs who need relief from anxiety caused by travel, visits to the vet, grooming, or other stressful situations. It targets several causes of dog anxiety, such as travel, vet visits, loud noises, separation anxiety, or excessive barking. Hemp is generally considered safe and free from harsh chemicals or additives, so it might be a safer alternative to other calming products that use medications. The Hemp Calming Chews for Dogs Anxiety seem to be a solid choice for pet owners looking for a natural, flavorful, and affordable option to manage their dog’s anxiety. If you're dealing with mild to moderate stress issues like barking, car rides, or vet visits, these chews could be effective.

These are first and foremost a delicious treat for my dog. It is no good if they do not like the taste of them. The calming effect is also good. Taken when a stressful situation is coming up they are much more relaxed with the situation. I would purchase more of these for any dog that is easily stressed or anxious, it also does no harm to a non stressed dog who just wants a delicious treat at the same time so they don't feel left out.

I am reviewing OKKÖBI Hemp Calming Chews For Dogs Anxiety 200 pcs - Dog Anxiety Relief - Dog Calming Chews - Melatonin For Dogs - For stress, travel, check-up, barking or grooming - Dog Calming Treats - ChickenThis is a huge pot of 200 treats! With two rescue dogs one that will eat anything and everything and the other a very anxious pup, anything that I can give both to calm them down is a bonus! Both dogs love these. So that's great. A pot of 200 will last a long time, though I worry about them going off once open?? These are high value treats so that's a huge benefit. Really hard to tell if they are working as it's too soon and I trial a wide range of treats. Can't say I've noticed any improvement. Definitely worth a try if you have an anxious pup - just use as treats and see what happens. Good quality, good pedigree and dogs love them. Big pot - great value
