I ordered this because I had just burned my hand checking on doneness in my toaster oven. T thought a long-handled fork would do fine -and it does. I can check all the items in my toaster oven - I keep them with the other kitchen utensils - handy. Not only do the tines do a fantastic job - but the handiness makes it easy to grab one. They lost a star because of plastic handles - I much prefer wooden ones.

These are a bit short for what they're advertised for..but they do work and they're easy to clean
