  • MADE IN THE USA: Manufactured with heat treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel in our California based facility, these units are rated up to 2,000 lb. level load carrying capacity.

After adding a Deck'd drawer system and filling it up my truck had a bit of sag in the back, after adding the helper springs it levels out and actually gained about an inch of lift. Take note that there a 2 different types of nuts included with the hardware. The slightly rounded nuts are the lock nuts and should go on last. Also you absolutely need a pair of clamps to compress the springs a little in order to install the brackets in the rear. These springs actually improved the ride of the truck.

Pro: it works and looks good.U- bolts and nuts are not the best. Some minor grinding on the drivers side rear of spring (corner) because it hits the frame. Now I need the lift the front. Darn😃

Besides the fact that the hardware from my kit was missing pieces, and the instructions were for components not matching anything shown, I was quite excited at first.I am now revising my review after using this kit for a month. It is awful. I mean it is a complete waste of money. The spring-assists are "rated" for 2000 pounds. I know for a FACT I have not come close to that, in fact I know exactly how much weight I've put in my bed: 920 pounds. Thats from 100 gallons of water plus the tank that holds it.At first I was like "wow this is GREAT my bed barely shifts".At 5 runs of water I was like "yep...still working pretty good"At 10 runs I was like "Hrmm....it's a bit more bouncy"Now at around 15 runs...it's as if I never installed it at all.Money and time was completely wasted, cannot reccomend against this product enough, especially since it damaged the frame as it has on other people. The braces WILL impact the frame and cut into it because they left these long pieces of metal at the end that get hit when springs come anywhere near compressing.Do NOT get this.

Worked great I installed the ones I ordered from summit. BTW if they hit you can reverse the direction of the leaf spring(not the bracket). As for the seller/Amazon the kit showed up late. In fact I ordered it from summit because I didn't think it would show up and it arrived before the Amazon purchase. Was in the middle of a move trying to return even though I missed the window barely but Amazon is being no help. Hopefully the seller will CONTACT ME.

Springs are fine, do what there suppose to do, nothing to write home about good or bad. U-bolts are another thing all together, thank goodness I had a 7/16 - 20 die to chase the threads! Would have never gotten springs bolted in place. They also provide metal locking nuts that do not allow double nutting without messing up threads.Understand before hand you need to purchase a 7/16-20 thread die to chase the thread first, also purchase 8 more 7/16 - 20 nuts too double nut with.

the add on helper spring leaf is what I need to support my truck when I put some thing in the back of my truck. It's easy to install.

Purchased this for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma with factory recalled leaf springs. I do a lot of hauling with my truck, so my leaf springs were worn and saggy. The product shipped fast and the installation was a breeze. It did give life back to my old leaf springs, bringing back the arch to them (my springs were worn and drooping backwards). My truck also rides like a TRUCK again. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who hauls a lot of heavy things.
