I Google searched "nutcrackers made in Germany" and was directed to this Amazon link, and Kurt Adler website says that nutcrackers are made in Germany . . . but alas, no such luck. Upon receiving the nutcracker, the box was labeled “Made in China”. Buyer beware!

Well kind of my own fault for not looking sooner, but the kitty on top is broken! What a disappointment as this is Christmas Eve and I just now pulled it out for a surprise. Super bummed.
