Helicoil stainless steel thread repair inserts have been my go-to fix for race cars, boats, and aircraft for 50 years. This refill set did not disappoint. As a reminder, you need to use the correct drill bit, Helicoil tap, and insert tool for best results.

I'm not sure what these particular coils are supposed to be use in, but they will NOT work to replace the 1/4" 20 mount at the bottom of the DJI Ronin-S. You'd think this would be a standard size since it's already a very niche product.

Heli-coils are useful in a variety of situations. Normally I use them in aluminum where they are must haves. Most recently I used them in a wood project that has bolts loosened and tightened regularly. They provide stout threads in whatever they are used. Highly recommended
