I absolutely love them and ordering more to give my friends. You will love them to, much better than what I expected

it's a great buy after screwing around with the threads on this aggravating hole while waiting for the Helicoil - kit, the kit fixed it in only five minutes of work perfectly as good as or better than new.

Was easy to install after I drilled the needed hole in the shaft. I put it on a front wheel of a walker.

Not for repairing stripped steel oil pan drain plugs. The reason is the oil will leak around the helicoil insert and unless your pan seals perfectly BETWEEN the head of the drain plug and the pan surface under it (which usually it does not), the plug will drip, often quickly.

Used the kit to repair threads for the fuel inlet of a 70 year old carburetor. Worked perfectly! Otherwise, I'd have to shell out some bucks to replace the whole air horn of the carb, if not the whole thing. Highly recommend using a drill press or holding fixture for a drill to make sure the hole that you drill is straight so that the helicoil will fit correctly.

It's a brand name helicoil. Of course it's going to be good.Used it to fix a stripped crank on a kid's bike.

I was very skeptical about using this because I couldn't imagine how screwing a thread into the thread could make it work so easy, but this fixed my stripped oil drain hole very well. I tried using only a tap before and it would strip again immediately but this was a permanent fix, highly recommend checking to see if you have or ordering the drill bit required to use for this helicoil kit
