The inside of the headers had a lot of slag in them the welds looks like something my 6 Year old could have done , for them to have such a great name, In the industry these headers I myself received .Sucked ....

Comes with blockoff plate if your car doesn't have an air pump (mine didn't). The passenger side collector is the ball socket style without a gasket and the driver side is a 3 hole collector. Contact Hedman for proper application. I installed this on a 2004 Suburban AWD 5.3 along with the Flowmaster high flow cats and cat back exhaust.Pros: Easy to installCheap, for some reason they were only 140$Came with most of the hardware needed.Look coolCons: Driver side flange was not smooth and had several spots that needed ground off for a proper seal.Coating burns off quickly and stinks, wife thought the truck was on fireDoesn't seem to change the sound of the truck at allBolts for collectors on passenger side were too short and had to get different ones.Instructions were lacking for a few things such as torque specs, which bolts and washers went with what and for what locationBut most of all the issue I have with them is the gasket that comes with them isn't the OEM multi layer style and didn't last long before I had an exhaust leak.All in all they are ok, wasn't expecting much but don't feel any difference in power. But then again its a 3 ton family ride with under 300hp. I would recommend penetrating oil for your bolts a few days before you get ready to remove the stock exhaust if you live in the salt belt. None of my bolts were difficult to remove, however the LM7 seems to want to keep the exhaust manifold bolts while letting you remove their heads.

This item is not a bolt on application. The passenger side comes with a gasketless ball and socket and IS NOT direct fit. Not sure why they made it like this. If the passenger side was just like the drivers side it would work perfectly.
