As you can see from the pictures mine at least did come with a parts list and assembly diagram. But for those who don’t, the 20 small bolts go on the steps, the two medium are to attach the rail risers to the handrail and the long two are for bolting the assembly to the steps.Assembly wasn’t complicated at all. Not many pieces and it’s really straightforward. I did most of it sitting in a chair in my sunroom.It’s a very stable stair. I’m a large man and it holds my weight without even a bit of give. And as a finished unit one person can move it without too much effort.Overall, I’m very happy with it. I used it to access a door on my sunroom that used to lead out to an elevated deck I had to remove due to rot. The top platform is 20” from the ground so I built a 4” platform out of scrap 2X6”s to give it a bit more height and even on it the stairs are totally stable. I give it 5 stars

I bought these for a 28ft RV. I love that it has the handle bar to grab on and it can be placed on either side of the steps. It is stable but note that it does tend to move around if it is not staked down to the ground. It does have some holes that allow you to anchor it for more stability. These are meant to be a more permanent option than the pull out steps found on most RV's.

Not to sound like a broken record but just like others’ complaints there are no detailed instructions. There is a nice video but it isn’t clear which way all the different lengths of screws go in. It took my husband and me 3 hours to put this together. You should have a lot of patience and muscles…this thing is very heavy so just trying to replicate the dude in the video was impossible. I think we are going to appreciate these sturdy stairs getting into and out of our tall hot tub.

There were no instructionsincluded, so it was very frustrating trying to put it together. This is why I only gave 4 stars. The steps are very sturdy and serves our purpose of getting in and out of the hot tub.

This is my second purchase of these stairs. It is a sturdy product that met my needs in both cases, or will (see below). Product comes without any assembly instructions so time must be spent figuring out which of three different length bolts are needed where in the assembly. Bigger problem was the second purchase came with bolts and nuts loosely tossed into the large box. Several bolts were missing, bolts were of different designs (Phillips head versus Allen wrench heads, etc.). Stairs were being assembled for use at a cabin that is 45 minutes from nearest hardware store. Fortunately, neighbor had enough miscellaneous bolts to complete stairs, but could not attach handrail until I made a trip to hardware store since 3 bolts were missing.

These are very sturdy and heavy steps! We needed a taller option for our tall hot tub and the steps offered from the spa dealer weren’t tall enough. This fit the bill perfectly and also has a tall hand rail which is reachable from inside the spa before stepping out which added even more safety.Assembling was a bit challenging so bring your patience. There are no instructions included which is a bit bizarre to me, but nonetheless it took some vision to imagine what it should look like and 2 people would be preferred. I did it by myself and it took about an hour, but should be faster with an extra set of hands. I highly suggest this product and would buy again. It solved our problem to perfection.
