My husband was very pleased with this and is excited to be out fishing and having an easier time getting in and out of his boat.

These heavy duty steps are relatively easy to install (a bit challenging with only one person, but doable), sturdy and make accessing the bow of the boat much easier. I did not install the top railing since it would get in the way when I swing my leg to go from the last step to the deck of the boat.

Easy mount boat trailer ladder. Makes it easier getting in the boat on the trailer

The welds all appear strong, the textured powder coating is thick and provides good traction with wet feet/shoes. The overlength grab bar/pole is relatively sturdy (but I had to fashion a cap from a water bottle because it is open at the top with no drainage on the bottom). Everything is included for installation, though I went to my local hardware store for black anodized bolts to match the steps and the rest of my trailer. I have a folding tongue for my 20' Lund Tyee GL, so I had to install it as far forward as possible to allow the tongue to fold and have the grab pole not hit the boat. I can't fold the tongue all the way now, but it's not a huge issue for me, but if you have a folding tongue that needs to fully fold due to your garage or items in your garage, you might be taking your chances. I'm rating a 4 instead of 5 simply on the value; I think this is a little overpriced; $75 to $100 cheaper seems more reasonable to me.

This is very easy to install. All of the parts appear to be high quality coated materials. The pole does not have a cap on the top. You will have to get something to cover that otherwise water will collect on the inside. One of the steps is slightly off at an angle. Not enough that it's going to cause me to trip though. The biggest issue is that my trailer tongue is tall and I could only get one bolt on at the bottom where the trailer tongue got thinner. Definitely check how tall your trailer tongue .

Steps are quality and easy install to my trailer. Down side is the hand pole. I am only 180 lb and feel like I could break that pole off if applying too much pressure. Where the hand pole connects to the top step should be reinforced or a heavy weight person will surely break it off. I am considering shortening the pole, as I don't want it to break off and damage the top step.
