It comes in like 4-5 sections and you can use as many as you like which I guess is why it’s adjustable but you can’t actually slide it back and forth to the exactly length you want like a regular curtain rod. Also there’s a very obvious seem in the rod at every section. Good from afar but far from good

Don’t buy this product. I had them professionally installed as I have ten foot ceilings and they look disgusting and cheap. The finish clearly does not match on pieces from the same box. The hangers were covered with a black sticky substance and I want a full refund without a return as I already paid to have them installed and they are nine feet high. CRAP! I would appreciate a call from Amazon customer care or you can bet they will get a call from me. Not Happy!!!!

I needed a curtain rod that extended out to install over some blinds and this product fit the bill. Was very easy to install even by myself. Finish on the brackets and rod is good. Diameter of the rod is a tad beefy but it makes it nice and sturdy even with a heavier blackout curtain. No bending at all.Very pleased

I already had a one inch double rod up, but I got tired of the way it looked and I hated the middle section that telescoped out. So, when I saw this new-fangled (?) type of extendable rod, I couldn't help myself. It is all they say and more. It is as solid as a curtain rod can be without outside reinforcements (LOL). The older type were always thin in the center because that piece had to fit inside the main part of the curtain rod. So, a one inch rod was only one inch at the ends--the center was about 5/8 of an inch. A big difference when it comes to fractions of inches. I also really like the simplistic look of the ends, the finials. They don't stick way out, nor are they overembelished. I adore straight lines and minimal looks. Ornate and gaudy are not invcluded in this curtain rod. Simple, clean lines is what it's all about. This is a great curtain accessory at a very good price (I got mine during a sale) and looks like it might even make a pretty deccent weapon, if necessary. You won't find any 'sagging in the middle' with this one!

I was looking for heavy duty rod because it’s a patio door and I wanted the curtains to slide all the way across without having to use a center brace. I’m so glad I picked this one. No brace needed and no bending in the middle using all the rods. It’s heavy duty solid. It works perfectly!
