Always suspicious of unfamiliar brand carabiners and usually opting for the pricier and familiar big brand names in the business these seemed to present themselves as trustworthy. I was looking for a double action locking oval biner (twist and open) and these filled the bill. Yes, the dimples verify they have been proof tested. They are solid and the gate action is super smooth for using one handed operation. Currently using a pair of these on a lanyard for tree work.

I have purchased these carabiners at least 5 times and have never been disappointed in either the quality, the fit and finish, or the functionality of this product. At this moment, these carabiner are out of stock on Amazon. However, as soon as they are available again I'm going to buy some more. I can't recommend them enough.

I WENT AND TOOK A LOOK AT THE MODERN CARABINERS AVAILABLE TODAY. I WAS NOT VERY IMPRESSED. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THESE A TRY AS THEY WERE SIMILAR TO MY PEAR TWIST LOCK OMEGA. THESE ARE OVALS AND FEEL BETTER IN MY HAND COMPARED TO THE "PEAR". TWIST LOCK FUNCTIONS WELL AND CARRABINERS DO NOT BIND IN ANYWAY. YOU BASICALLY GET 2 FOR THE PRICE OF ONE PETZL OR BLACKDIAMOND. TRY NOT TO FALL HA!HA!HA!
