Benutze diesen Karabiner für meine Rastschlinge am Klettersteig. Ich finde das Handling sehr einfach, lässt sich leicht ans Seil anbringen und leicht auch wieder entfernen. Öffnung völlig ausreichend.

I was looking for a one handed carabiner that I could tie into something/somone in which to be lowered that was able to be used with one hand. This carabiner safty unlockes when you sqeeze it which opens the clasp enabeling you to operate it one handed. Perfect when you dont have time or visibility to manually unlock something in a hurry. Great item.

Purchased two of these for a double ended sailing tether that I recently remade. The previous tether had regular aluminum carabineers on the ends which had corroded to the point that they wouldn't snap closed. Shortly after making them, my husband and I participated in the Baja Ha Ha cruiser's rally and had plenty of opportunity to use the tethers spending a good 7 nights sailing in 8 to 10 foot seas with up 25 kt winds gusting to 35 kts. They felt reliable and were easy to use in the dark. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I would liked for them to have been a little lighter and (as always) a little less expensive. Otherwise, great product!

Big but light, clearly well-engineered, sturdy and dependable. I used a girth hitch to attach this to my personal helo retention lanyard, following the lead of a number of my peers and teammates who use Kong 'biners, and the cool Kong Frog, on their lanyards. Ergonomically sound and have a good reputation for safety amongst the people whose opinions matter to me, so I bought without hesitation. It has since proven itself to my liking, by keeping me from sliding off the skids to my certain death, so I'm a happy buyer.

I am using this carabiner on the end of a custom kayak rescue PFD tether (or "cow tail")and I love the quick and easy action. It is easier to unlock in a fast paced whitewater environment than a screw gate locker and the mechanism is more reliable around the water than an auto-locker. Just pinch the base and slap the hook over the grab loop on the boat and you are done. Only complaint is the large size, but I suppose the locking mechanism has to fit somewhere.
