I loved the fit and look of this vest. I was especially glad that the activation buttons were on the inside of the vest. But I am returning due to the back heating panel not working. Would be willing to gamble in a second one due to all the positives.

I've had a few heated items like this (vests, hoodies, jackets). They all seem to crap out after not too long, especially with a few washings. So I refuse to keep spending $200 on something that doesn't even last. I can tell you that this little guy works great. I like that the battery isn't too big or intrusive...it doesn't feel like I'm carrying around car battery like some do. I recommend this vest highly.

First off... the sizing is true. I normally wear a US Men's Size L so that is what I ordered and it fits me well. The material is a high quality dense fleece with a smooth nylon liner on the inside. It has a medium height collar and the zipper is what I would consider to be heavy duty. I ordered the blue and it's a pleasant shade of medium blue, it looks good on me. All of the stitching was done well, no flaws. As far as the heating system, I'm thoroughly impressed. The battery is a little on the heavy side and it goes into a pocket located on the interior of the vest. It's on the user's lower left-hand side and it does feel like there's something kinda heavy there but not really a big deal. It's a 12000 mAh power bank so yeah... it's gonna be a little heavy but worth it's weight in capacity. It's a slim power bank so it doesn't feel bulky. The vest will accept most power banks with a USB port which is a huge bonus if you already own a few. Does it heat up fast? YES, like instantly. There are two heat control buttons - one for "back" and one for "belly". You can run either independently or both at once. The interface is very simple and makes cycling through the temp settings a breeze. You will feel that roast-toasty heat in a matter of seconds.I recommend this as a layer for cold water fishing, hunting, skiing/boarding or anything that puts you into the frigid elements for moderate or long periods of time. If you're looking for a high quality heated layer this vest is a good choice for sure.
