Excellent vest. A great deal even though no battery - can get any size battery you want and overall lower cost than a combined one. Heats ups very well. Have used in single digits evenings and kept me warm.

Works well although seems to turn itself on by itself occasionally

This has done a great job at keeping my dad warm when he is playing tennis. That being said, this does NOT come with a battery pack for you to use with this. Also note that not all battery packs will work with this due to the power requirements so just make sure you are aware of this when buying a battery. You want a decently powered battery (I am not sure of the voltage). The smaller battery packs I have did not turn this on unfortunately. The heat from the vest does not effect the battery from what I can tell but just use your best judgement when working with it. You get heating pads all around the jacket and it does a great job keeping the core part of me warm which is what I want. Because of the battery location, the jacket can be a bit on the heavier side with the battery pack. It just stays in the pocket on one of the sides. I would recommend thinner if possible so not too much extra weight. The material does a decent job with repelling water. It is a smooth material but I would recommend wearing a shirt under this. Without the battery, the device is not too heavy. The jacket is not tight form fitting though and it retains heat pretty well. It does give you a little bit of breathing room but my dad likes about it is that there is no sleeves so he can still have free movement when playing tennis. It is just a simple black color so it can easily blend in with your dark color clothes. The zipper is pretty strong and has not broken or gotten stuck. My dad opts to hand wash this and air dry to keep the material soft and smooth for himself. The controls are on the chest and blend in well to the logo. It does have LED indicators to show the level but they do shut off after a few seconds so it is not constantly on. The button is not overly sensitive where you might accidentally bump into it and turn it off. The device will never get too hot where it burns you but adjust to your comfort. The device last for quite sometime but again it depends on the battery your decide to purchase. My battery so far has not been drained too much. It is pretty easy to operate and easy to turn off when you feel you are warm enough. Overall this is a vest is not bad for the comfort and heating unit. I do wish it came with a battery but that is okay. It can be a bit hard to really find the right battery to fit with this though in term of being small and light while also being able to power this. It is not overly heavy where you get weighed down and you can was hit pretty easily. The no sleeve allows you to move around easier as well.

I bought it and I love it. The size chart is off so size up. It was a little snug on me so I gave it to my brother and bought another one in the next size up. I'm 6'3" 245lbs. I wear a 2XL. The chart shows that I should order a 2XL which I did and it was snug. So I bought 3XL. The first time I turned it on I thought I bought a dud. It took awhile to heated up but after that first time it's been amazing. I bought mine for $29 dollars. I see they raised the price but its stills worth it but I wouldn't pay over $40.Pro:It really heats up.I love the control over each heating zone.I like that you can turn off the control light.Con:The material seems cheap and thin. The zippers seems weak.

I would like to know why you would sell a heated vest with no battery. Kind of defeats the purpose of a HEATED VEST!! Would not recommend this brand when all the others have a battery that comes with it.

The many heating elements are really nice. My son especially likes the warmth on his neck.. I ordered a size up based on others comments about being under sized. I had to send the XL back because it was too large. I bought the large and my son still has room in it. He is 6’1” and around 180.

I have now moved three heated vests; this one is definitely my favorite. None of the three were brand names you would recognize, or at least none that I recognized. Some have said that the battery doesn't last long enough. To my experience, it lasts just as well as it does in other heated vests, which is honestly a little surprising since this one has SO MANY heat pads for a more full heating coverage than I have seen in other vests.I normally wear a medium but ordered large; medium, it turns out, would have worked just fine, being true to size. But I'm also fine with the large since I am more likely to be wearing thick clothing or multiple layers in the kind of temperatures that would have me wearing an electric vest over it.The buttons are very easy to reach on this one, over the chest. On the previous two vests that I've owned, the button was down by a lower pocket, which means I would have to take off my outer coat (if I was using it while out on a winter walk) just to see if it was actually charged and still in the right position (high versus medium versus low). It's much easier to check this or adjusted when it's on the chest like this one. Also, the battery pocket is better-sized on this one then on the two previous ones I owned, which means you can put in a larger battery easily, and it will last longer, which is what I do. The two power banks I own that I'm using each last about seven hours when I have this on the medium setting, and easily fit within the pocket. Also, the shipper quality is better on this vest then on previous brands vests that I owned. One of the reasons I had to get a new heated vest was because the zipper on the previous one had become impossibly jammed, making it impossible to close it or open it, which made it very difficult to get to the battery or to get it in there and keep it in there. With this particular heated vest, I suspect it's going to last longer if for no other reason than the zippers are better made.
