Be careful, not completely flat & wont work well on an induction burner with pot or pan.

Poor heat capacity, did not transfer heat to pots, developed discoloration at point of contact and at bottom of plate.

Fonctionne bien avec mes chaudrons. Prend un peu plus de temps à chauffer ce qui est normal. Très contente de mon achat.

I'd like this better if it was just flat and didn't have bumps/legs built into it.

Nicely done and good heavy quality. The adapter works well.

I bought this so that I could use a couple of aluminum pots I have on my induction burner. The problem is that there are 4 evenly spaced indentations/"feet" as you can see in the picture. Facing down on the burner, it raises the metal disc just enough so that good contact isn't made with the burner, except on these 4 tiny areas. Facing up, it's the same issue only now your pot is raised up just enough not to make contact with the disc. This would be fine for a diffuser on a gas stove, but not useful for an induction burner.

I know. There's a group of you that immediately thought, that person is an (insert nice but negative cooking related word).I have electric. But tow houses where I cook at have gas. FOr the life of me I can;t get anything to simmer without burning or boiling. Rice? Fuggedaboutit! This solves that. Spreads the heat out. No more hot spots where the flame is or coll spots where the flame isn't.So I got two of these (different brands) and even the gas stove owners like them. One of them is a die hard gas stove person.Recommended. Even if you don't think you have issues cooking over gas.

No issues at all - lets us use or older non induction frying pans (pots are induction. No overheating or other issues.

While it did allow a pot that was not induction compatible to become warm, it did not become hot enough for water to boil. In addition, the cook top became so hot it shut off! I would not recommend this product.

Gocoffun: Heat Conduction Plate for Gas Stove, Stainless Steel Induction Plate AdapterASIN : B0CPFQ9X41These diffusers seem a little pricey for a simple metal plate, but are really well worth it because it saved me from replacing all my favorite cookware. Initially, I got this for my gas stove, and later read that diffusers significantly reduce cooking speed, which deterred me from trying it. Well, it's been a few weeks and my gas stove broke. I wanted to heat some soup with my new induction burner and needed to use this diffuser to heat my copper bottom pot. I am so glad I gave this diffuser a try because, if there was a delay in heating my pot, I didn't notice it. And as far as I could tell, the plate heated my pot just as quickly as ever. I am so happy it worked. Now I can't wait to try this diffuser using my glass teapot too. This diffuser is pretty thick and looks well made and came with a removable handle. I am very happy with the results using my small pot and can't wait to try it with my other cookware. So, I highly recommend giving this a try for use with an induction burner or cooktop.
