I mostly play with finger nails and pretty much punched a hole in my previous "classic" guitar. I just got a new one to retire the poor old servant. I went above basic with an Alvarez AC70Hce and that is my last splurge of my life.Went on last night tapping hard, giving control to the music... Woke up, looked at music babe and she's absolutely unscathed, no scratch, no nothing.Instructions are impossible to understand, I would pay the same price for a product made in any other country.

Very thin material, wouldn't last long as pick guard. Instructions are only in foreign language. Suggested to use heat gun for application...ON A GUITAR!!!Basically similar to phone screen protector. Some phone screen protectors are thicker.Returned it. Very disappointed.

not much more than phone shield but exactly what I wanted. don't expect a robust thick one but if you want one to just avoid scratching the wood and say invisible, this is it.

I though the quality of it would be much better. I have the feeling I could have cut a piece of plastic and put it there on my guitar. I find it quite expensive for the price I paid.

This is the best clear pick guard you can buy for your guitar. In the pictures you can slightly see the guard because of the reflection, but it in reality you can barely see it in person. 10/10 note: was not paid to post this, but I’d like for people to know of the quality of this guard since I was looking for one for quite some time.

There seems to as many pickguard possibilities out there as there are picks. They come in many types of materials, colors, designs, curiosities, and potential solutions. With that said, I simply could not make a decision. So, instead of having to match pickguard color to my guitars, I chose to purchase these clear types. The package comes with 2 guards slightly different in design but using the same basic overall coverage. Laying down a clear plastic pickguard requires 3 major objectives. The surface must be clean and oil-free, you should lay the guard in place to see your final location before removing the protection layers, and finally, remove any bubbles after application. This product comes with the 2 guards, a moistened cleaning towel, a dry dust removal towel, and a squeegee to remove air bubbles after placement. The directions are pretty basic but if you ever have applied a very thin layer of material to any surface, you know the rules. Try to find a dust-free area to do the work. Be sure to use the moistened towel to clean the surface and then wipe the surface with the dry dust-free towel. The adhesive side protection sticker is labeled 1. Remove that sticker and roll the guard onto the surface where you plan the pickguard to be. Using the squeegee, move it outwards from the middle to the edges across the entire guard. Then remove the protection layer numbered 2. Again, squeegee from the middle outwards to the edges until you don't see any major air bubbles under the guard. Very small air bubbles will eventually disappear. If you see some dust or dirt under the guard, that will require you to re-apply the guard. I was able to do both my guitars without needing a re-apply. For the money, this kit is well worth your consideration. Please note that after application, the only way you can tell you have a pickguard is by seeing the edges. The guards are 100% transparent.

I applied this guard to my Ibanez nylon stringed acoustic guitar. The smooth glossy finish of the guitar provided a very smooth and neat application of the pick guard. It took a little effort to remove the air bubbles but the finished product looks great or should I say it is invisible and does the job. Great find and buy. If you have a lot of grain revealed through the finish you may experience a greater degree of air bubbles but I am sure the protection would still be there.

Self explanatory & easy to apply. It came with instructions & tools needed to apply it. Two pickguards arrived with this order, see photos below. The thin vinyl film is like the screen protector on a smartphone or a decal on a car window. The static cling vinyl sticks to any smooth surface. The trick is avoiding dust or air bubbles from being entrapped underneath. After washing & thoroughly drying the hands, place the guitar on a flat surface in a fairly dust free environment. Decide where to apply the pickguard shield. Use the tools provided to ensure the surface is dust free. Remove the protective film using the tab closest to the guitar surface as the vinyl shield is evened out carefully to remove air bubbles from under it. Then remove the remaining protective film. The pickguard is transparent. I've just had it for a couple of days. So far so good.

I recently got a Taylor Academy 10e for Christmas- my nicest acoustic guitar ever. It has a matte finish and no pick guard. I noticed in the first week my strumming was already ever so slightly denting the spruce top. I bought the clear matte finish shield and installed it. Look at the picture- can you find it? Outstanding!

So easy to apply and the kit even gives you what you need if you get bits of lint or dust stuck underneath it out for a nice even seal. I have a blue-green guitar and got the glossy finish, you can only tell it's there if you're paying close attention. Also the kit come with 2 pickguards but only enough to stick/unstick one unless you're doing two different guitars at once. Peels off cleanly using the kit and protects well!

These are amazing pick guards, easy to fit ,and almost invisible, you have to look closely to see it ,I have used these on my other guitars, but they were the patterned type, never given any trouble, also there is no glue involved,no mess if you need to remove.I have fitted one to my Faith Venus high gloss ,and am delighted with the result see photo,I would buy again from this company.
