I got these for a headset that only has one jack, however my PC requires to inputs, one for mic and one for sound. This splitter allows me to use the headset on my PC. These tend to be cheap plastic, which is no big deal BUT this one is quite high quality. The wires are black braided. The splitter is a metal black rectangle that they route into and the adapter pieces feels like metal or a dense plastic, I can't tell. In terms of design quality, these are high end, which is funny because splitters tend to be cheap in all aspects. They work as intended but I think these will last for a very long time based on the build quality. If you are in the market for splitters, without hesitation get this one, they scream quality!

There's not much to say about this. It seems to be of an acceptable quality thanks to it's price tag being so low. It's as small as you could hope for while remaining flexible and all wire (as opposed to a solid block with plugs). I cannot hear any degredation of sound quality, which is good. So I would say it works and works well. And at five bucks if it stops working in a year, it won't be the end of the world.10/10 would split my audio with this again

This arrived in a simple zip lock plastic bag. It was in perfect shape.This little splitter is something every PC gamer needs a few of. They are very handy if your are trying to use a headset that has only one 3.5 mm jack on one end rather than two on your PC (One jack for the headset sound and one for the headset mic). This would allow you to use such a headset on your front IO panel on your case (as in my pictures), or directly into a sound card, both internal or external, should you have one.This works well, and this one has the added bonus of being nicely braided which most are not.I have no cons. I try to have a couple of these to use with multiple headsets on multiple different PC setups. I always seem to lose them occasionally so for me its better to have more than one.

I tried using this with my all headphones including SONY, Targus & RadioShack. But it didn't work with any of the.Only the speaker portion works, microphone doesn't work. Please make sure to check the compatibility before buying this product. This product is useless for me.

I had some nice gaming headphones for my Xbox that when plugged into my pc would only do either input or output. This was a great fix to that instead of buying another expensive headset
