My purchase of the Haus and Garten pruning sheets arrived very quickly and I wasted no time in trying them out. They are, without question, the best pruner I have owned.I love how comfortably they fit in my hand, are easy to use, and the sharpness of the blades helped me to get the job done very quickly. Very happy I chose them!

I just received my Haus & Garten pruning shears today and I was excited to try them out so quick as a whip I went to prune my Fringe tree that has four bases to it.As you can see in the photo, it cut cleanly through the 5/8" base with very little effort. I applied pressure until it stopped (just shy of halfway) then with a quick twist of my wrist it finished the cut making short work of the job!I am what I consider an average size 62 year old American male, 6'1" and while I was concerned that these might be too small for my hand they're not, in fact I think this particular pair could genuinely be considered unisex.I highly recommend these shears, and I consider myself to be relatively stingy when it comes to rating something 5 stars!

This is our second set. work great and can be disassembled easily for cleaning/oiling. Pressure is adjustable with the grip as well. Work great!

As an experienced landscaper and pruning expert, this pruner is compact, stays sharp for longer periods than others that are similar, and the grip is comfortable in the hand.. Highly recommended.

This is good shear but I wish it were larger. Priviosuly I could find the one I wanted selected hardware stores so has manufacturer stopped making- not available on Amazon either

After going through countless cheap-o big-box hardware store pruning shears that rusted or dull or just plain fell apart, I decided to spend a bit of time and research to find some good hardware that wouldn't need replacing after half a growing season.At first, I felt crazy spending almost six times my normal budget for new shears... Once they arrived though, I was 100% convinced that this was a tool that's worth every penny and then some. Some of the better points:* The locking mechanism is very secure and very easy to operate one-handed.* There is a neat little guard around the spring to prevent debris from getting in there and causing problems.* Ergonomics have clearly been very extensively tested, very comfortable to hold and use.* The angle of the handles and the blade are perfect for using the shears to trim in tight spots.* They provide excellent leverage, I've been able to cut everything from thick, woody stems and branches to delicate little trims on a bonsai.* The rubber on the handles provide excellent friction, even when wet. The tool has never accidentally slipped out of my hands.There is great control over the blade, and because of the angle it's very easy to see exactly what you're doing and make precise cuts. At the same time, the design provides exceptional leverage making big cuts of thick branches easy. Titanium in the blade is very light and quite hard, so it does not dull easily at all, in addition to being corrosion resistant. Other major parts that are not Titanium are made from stainless steel, so every component of this tool is designed to last and made from materials that absolutely will not corrode, rust, dull, wear down, or break any time soon.Excellent craftsmanship. I expect this tool will easily last for decades!
