I ordered this because my two sons have SO MANY HATS! I had another solutions to organize their hats, but it was not a very good product. I thought this would be a better solution because the hats can hang on the hooks and this can hang in their closets. I recommend this for one hat per hook, so 6 hats per holder, but at least it is getting the hats off the floor!

Over the years I have accumulated a fair number of baseball caps, some purchased and some received at various events and give-aways. Pretty typical situation for many American households. A while back I bought a hat organizer that mounts to the wall and has hooks. I have never really liked that approach, because it is precarious to fit more than 1 hat per hook with what I have and it also takes up hanging space that I would like to use for other things. Also, that approach does not work well with brimmed hats. Instead, I would prefer a hanging hat storage approach, so I thought I would try this product. The hanger is made of metal, not plastic, which I prefer for longevity. The metal is thin and light, but seems robust enough that I'm not having any problems with it. By design the hanger that goes over the closet rod is somewhat loose, to allow it to swivel and swing a bit, perhaps as needed to fit into a full closet or just adapt to what is loaded onto it. Overall, the weight seemed sturdy enough for me- it is just holding hats- no need to overthink it.Because caps come in different shapes, sizes, and materials, I cannot say how the hanger will perform in all scenarios. I generally have caps with plastic, adjustable snaps on the back that are also more shape-holding and caps with fabric that compress down, not holding their shape. The more of the latter you have, the more caps you should be able to pile onto a single hook.I loaded 4 caps onto a single hook ok. It didn't seem like going for more than 4 would work well, because the more you pile on, the more material is stacked up, rising to the next hook. I think 4 per hook is probably the reasonable max. With 6 hooks total, that suggests I could get up to 24 caps into this thing, if the sizes and shapes are like the ones I currently have. I did not try loading that many, as my caps are scattered around in cars, bags, in the office, in different rooms, etc.I put 8 caps onto it, which is more like the load I aim to do most of the time. I found that the hanger rotates its position based on the weight distribution of the caps. Thus, if you load more weight on the back side, the hanger will rotate forward sticking out. I preferred the opposite, so I loaded heavier caps onto the front hooks and that swing it back towards the wall. That was fine with me.My wife and I have a lot of scarves. I currently have adhesive hooks on the back of various doors in the house that the scarves hang from. I got the idea to load the second hanger with the scarves I use most. I think you could load a lot of scarves onto the hanger, but I put my 3 favorite ones on there and I'm very happy with that solution. Now I don't have to worry about the scarves getting caught in the doorway when I open and close doors. When my wife sees that, I think she's going to be like, "Hey, where's *my* scarf hanger?!" I know the hanger is intended for caps, but whatever- this worked well for me as an adaptation.Overall, I think the hanger is designed well to achieve functionality at a low cost. It's not over-engineered to survive the zombie apocalypse, sort of thing. Because it is metal, it's going to last longer and be more sturdy than a lot of plastic products. It is holding my hats and scarves, so it does what it is supposed to do.Disclaimer: I got this item as a participant in Amazon's Vine program, so I received this only for the "price" of the tax I'll pay on receiving it. I have tried my best to make a genuine, thorough, honest review. If you have any concerns about my pros and cons of the product, please leave a comment and I'll try to respond.

This hat hanger set has been a total game changer for organizing my dad's growing cap collection. Each hanger is made of sturdy metal and comes with six hooks, easily holding up to 30 caps in a compact, vertical setup. The rotatable design makes it super easy to flip through and find the hat I want without pulling everything down. It was incredibly easy to set up just hang it on the closet rod and it’s ready to use. It doesn’t take up much space at all, which is a huge plus, especially if you’re short on closet storage. The black color gives it a clean and modern look that fits in perfectly. The hats stay in place and are no longer scattered all over the house. He can actually see the collection now and keep it neat and accessible. If you’re a hat lover or just looking for an easy way to declutter, this is a smart and affordable solution. My father and I are very happy with this purchase.

Seem like a good way to keep hats up at eye level and secure so they don't flop all over the place. My teenage son lives in baseball hats, so this was ordered for him as a means to help keep them in the closet and organized. So far seems great. I like that the hanger piece rotates so you can easily access hats from each side & decide how you best want to have them positioned in your closet. We hung the second rack from the bottom of the first one for now so he has a longer system and all hats are in that one spot. But there may be a time when he needs to use one for belts and ties, so it's very adaptable that you can easily change the positioning to fit your individual needs. You can also fit multiple hats on each hook, so can store quite a few on each rack. It seems decent as far a durability, but could definitely become slightly bent if it were twisted too hard.

I’ve tried a few other hat type hangers and either they did not do the job or took up too much space. These fit nicely on my closet clothes rack not taking up much room. The hats stack over each other so they keep their form also. These really took care of the clutter in my closet as I have a ton of hats. The way they stack makes it easy to see what hat is where and you don’t have to go through your entire collection to find the one you want. Great value and excellent solution for storing. I will buy again when I have the need.
