Most of the loops are good. I make the pot holders and give them for gifts. People like them. I am 72 and the potholders are easy to make.

I had a special request to make black and white potholders. I did not realize I could get these loops in specific colors. I came to Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. These are the best loops I have ever used. They are fine quality and they fit perfectly in my metal looms.

We love these loops. My daughter started with a box store loom and synthetic loops at age 7, and fell in love. But those potholders melt when faced with hot objects, so we looked on amazon and found these. We have had 2 bags of bright mix, as well as individual bags in red, green and white. The mixed bags have a lot of colors, but not necessarily in equal amounts, but that is stated in description. My favorite way to buy is the individual colors, but on Amazon the color prices vary, But if you go to Harrisville site, each color is $7.50, which is much better than $10 plus for some of the colors listed here. This is a great item to help your kids get off the tablet, and practice fine motor skills. My daughter is 9, and she can do everything on her own now. She loves making these for gifts.

Consistent size so that every loop fits the loom (unlike when I was a kid), but they seem awfully expensive for what they are. For the price I could buy a bunch of t-shirts at the thrift shop, sew a small seam, and cut them into loops. They'd work as well for children's looms as cost a fraction.

The loops are strong and even, no straggling threads. I've mixed dyes to get just the right color, and these dye beautifully. I'd recommend the Harrisville Cotton Loops to anyone that might be in the market. They're a bit pricey though considering what they're used to make.

These loops are thicker and heavier than other loops we have had. They make quality, thick potholders that retain their shape and are practical to use. I will only be purchasing Harrisville loops in the future. And the colored ones are vivid and bright - my daughter loves them!

Hi, Harrisville cotton loops are by far the highest quality loops I've used in the 55+ years I've been making people happy with potholders. Ever other brand has a huge percentage of unusable loops - they're too short for the loom. My only problem with Harrisville, even purchasing them from Amazon, is the price. It costs about $2.50 to make ONE potholder.Yikes.Thank you for reading this.Be
