shake

Step 1

Start by shaking the can well. Hold the container upright with the nozzle pointing away from you, and depress the spray valve. You will want to try to hold the spray can approximately 8-10 inches from the surface you are treating

Apply

Step 2

Apply the spray to common label approved surfaces where bed bugs or eggs may be hidden. The spray will kill the bugs and eggs once it has dried. Spray each square foot for approximately 5 seconds. You want the surface to be damp, but not dripping.

Apply

Step 3

Locate and treat cracks and crevices. Our high pressure spray can get deep into cracks and crevices around floorboards, baseboards, bed frames, furniture, door and window frames. You can also apply aerosol on soft surfaces like carpets, mattresses, box springs, bedding, and more.

Let Dry

Step 4

After treating the surfaces, leave the room and allow the items to dry completely. Ventilate the area by opening doors and windows before reoccupying the room. After the spray is dry, you can replace the bedding and use any sprayed objects again.

I bought this spray because I had a mild bed bug problem and was especially worried about the eggs, which are hard to eliminate. I applied it as instructed and noticed a big difference within days. The best part is that it also kills the eggs, which helps prevent the problem from coming back. Also, it doesn’t have an unbearable smell like other similar products. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a powerful and fast solution.

I woke up one day with three bed bug bites on my back. Honestly, I thought they were a skin problem, and went away on a week-long trip. When I got back, I found what looked like a bed bug by the shower drain. I killed it, and the next morning I found that I had gotten two new bites in the night. Another day later, I had three bites on my arm. I also killed another bedbug in the bathroom. I did my research, and bought this spray as well as DE dust. After applying the dust to the four legs of my bed, along the floor, and making a dust barrier at all the doorways, I then thoroughly sprayed the mattress with this Harris spray. One 16 oz bottle was just enough to spray the whole mattress top and under, and also the bedframe beneath the mattress. I did not have enough in the one bottle to spray the whole room. This stuff goes quickly. In any case, I was bedbug bite free for a good four weeks after that. And then one dawn, I woke up to a bedbug sneakily crawling away from me on the pillow, which I promptly squished to death. Too late though, because I found a bite on my hand. I immediately went to the drug store and bought another bedbug spray (ortho brand) and sprayed the whole mattress again. I also ordered this from Amazon again, and when it arrived in 3 days, I used it on top of the ortho one. That was 8 days ago, and I have not found another bedbug or had another bite. So, I concluded that this spray will kill the bugs it can reach, but that the residual kill effect might be only in effect a couple of weeks. After that, it looks like you need to reapply. I plan to order more cans of this and the ortho (which also seemed very effective), and alternate spraying my bed and surrounding floor every 2-3 weeks for at least a few months. Will provide updates as to how that goes. - 12.28.2018Update 3.14.2019 - bedbug free! Haven’t had a bed bug bite since December 2018, so I conclud that they’re gone. I am gonna keep buying the sprays to use regularly on the carpet of the hallway outside my apartment, especially near my door, because those initial bugs must have come from a neighbor, so I figure the best preventive is to kill them before they reach my apartment. Otherwise, I am breathing a big sigh of relief.

This is the first time that my child has brought home bed bugs while going to the parks in Orlando. Those pests had 2 months to reproduce before we figured out what was causing the marks on my daughter (after bringing her to a dermatologist who said it was allergies!!)I am now a bed bug expert after about 60+ hours of working crazily in her room and we are 110% bed bug free. First, DO NOT buy foggers. I used all 3 of these in her small room and when I went back into her room to get the empty canisters, they were all walking around!! Also, DO NOT get Bug traps to put by the foot of each bed pedestal. They don't capture anything and when her room was filled with them, none went in it!!!THIS IS THE ONLY thing that worked for me. (1) Diatomaceous Earth ("DE") powder with puffer, Harris Bed Bug Killer gallon SPRAY and Harris Egg Bed Bug Killer FOAM (about $9.00). Home Depot actually sells the Harris Bed Bug Kit that contains some of the above so I would buy the kit first. However, I used 4 cans of the FOAM so make sure you buy more foam cans. Since they do not sell the foam cans at the store, order more ahead of time! THAT REALLY IS THE BEST. I also bought and used a $49.00 Hand steamer they sell at Walmart and steamed the wooden planks, mattress and box spring. I then used bed bug encasements that I purchased on Amazon to encase both of them so the bugs cannot go in and cannot get out!! Those encasements really work.Make sure to dismantle the ENTIRE BED INCLUDING SCREWS! The first time I did her room, I just partially dismantled her bed and the first night, she saw more bed bugs. When I took apart her bed the 2nd time (this time everything was dismantled including the feet and all screws), I shockingly found most of the bugs and eggs in the wooden planks, crevices and screws beneath the box spring. I especially saw a ton of unhatched eggs when I took apart the feet to the wooden planks (in those spaces). When I sprayed the foam inside the holes, I actually saw them run out of the holes and die immediately. Also, the foam is the only thing I know on the market that kills UNHATCHED EGGS!! I saw the eggs burst when I sprayed them with foam. I used the gallon spray for everything else such as furniture, luggage, etc. Also, make sure that you re-do the room about 7-10 days to get rid of any eggs that hatched after you cleaned that you might have missed. I just disassembled her room today after doing all of the above and found nothing!!!! Not even dead ones.We were told that to get an exterminator to treat her room (about 10 x 10), it would cost around $1,000.00. However, even the exterminator would not have done all that I did and would have left some around. I guarantee you will be bed bug free if you follow these directions!! Good luck.
