Used this to seal a large tarmac driveway and did not disappoint. Easy to use and covered large areas with ease. Comes with several nossels so high viscosity liquids such as tarmac sealant can still be used. Sturdy and well made. Very happy with product and price.

This sprayer is very sturdy, long lasting and easy to use. I like the different nozzles. Careful putting anything too sticky, like neem oil in it without rinsing afterwards. Had to replace mine when it was stuck and wouldn’t open without breaking it. But I bought it again!

Have been using for about a year. No issues yet. Works well everytime. I wash it out after every use. The range of attachments and functionality are impressive, especially considering the price. My only complaint is the strap is cheap and not very effective when the sprayer is full. This might be the best sprayer on the market.

This was my second purchase of the D.B. Smith Contract Sprayer. The first purchase was some years ago, since when it has been used reasonably frequently around the garden. It has a range of useful spray tips for different purposes, has been consistently useful, without fault and proved to be much higher quality than cheaper sprayers we had owned previously.We live in South Texas and unfortunately I stored the sprayer in our garage, which is insulated but not air-conditioned in summer. The years of summer heat took their toll, causing two of the pressure seals to become hard and ineffective. My fault, the new sprayer will be stored in a cool place during summer. I could have purchased a seal replacement kit, but the cost difference between this and a new sprayer was not great, leading me to buy a new one.The new one is identical to the old one. This suggests that D.B. Smith know they have a good product and see no need to update it. I agree. By the way, don't be put off by the word Contractor in the name. The sprayer is ideal for home use.

Purchased this spray to apply concrete stain and sealer to both my driveway and patio - a little over 3000 square feet. So far I have only finished my patio (600 sq ft) and it worked like a charm. Good pressure for a nice smooth mist spray coating (I used 3 colors and applied 6 coats of stain and 1 of sealer) and did not have to continually pump the spray - which allowed for pretty quick application.Cleaning the sprayer wasn't too bad either. The valve that allows depressurization of the tank before opening is a BIG PLUS. My old 1 gallon sprayer didn't have that and I hated having to "spray out" not only air but whatever liquid was in the tank before opening it. This way you can release the pressure, unscrew the pump lever, and pour whatever is left in the tank back into the container. I then rinsed out the tank with warm water, refilled, pressurized and sprayed any remaining product through the sprayer until it ran clean. Depressurized again, and washed the pump unit in warm water and was all done.I had always used a 1 gallon sprayer before and am so glad I switched to this 2 gallon unit. It makes such a difference - am going to switch to this unit for my garden weed spraying too.Unit came with a carry strap but I did not use it. I just sit the tank down while spraying and move as necessary.Sprayer seems well made and I anticipate using it for years to come. Comes with a nice assortment of nozzles and internal parts can be replaced if necessary w/o having to purchase a whole new unit.Works well for my application and I recommend it. Thank you.

I wish I could give this product more than five stars, both for build and design quality, functionality, and value. I purchased this tank sprayer because of my frustration with others that I own. I did a fair amount of research before ordering this unit. I was not familiar with the brand. This is an excellent tank sprayer for small jobs, and at this price, and excellent value. The qualify of all components was much better than other name brand sprayers I have bought locally over the years. It is difficult to describe all of the small details that make it such a great product and value. There are so many neat features, like the black plastic tank base with a protrusion that I assume is to put a foot on when pumping, great idea, but I found that it also acts as a dribble catcher for the wand when snapped into the holder for transport., The included shoulder strap and latches to attach it to the tank are great quality. The pump shaft is metal, not the usual plastic, and it includes a pressure release valve to take the pressure off of the tank when you want to open the lid. Smith offers four available nozzles with different spray patterns to fit most any application. It worked great with a difficult product to get through the spray head. I will definitely purchase additional units for different applications.
