This could have better instructions for the poles for the bunk bed part

This is a cool bed, my son loves it and a monkey child hasn’t died swinging from it yet.THAT SAID…it was a long build (-1 star). The directions lack some “make sure this faces out” notes to where I had to undo some bolts and flip something. Two people helped for the futon frame build. 4x bolt holes did not line up on the futon frame curved arms no matter how I aligned the spindles (-1 star). Didn’t affect the beds function or stability much but I think they were misaligned from the factory.If you struggle with ikea like stuff, you’ll hate putting this together. I used a cordless 12V screwdriver with an Allen head bit to speed up the process as the tiny Allen head wrench provided would have taken ages…if you use a 18v+ drill, set the max torque setting to low-medium so you don’t strip anything out.

This bed frame was the absolute worst to put together. And even when it was done and the bolts were tightened it was still kind of rickety. We are never taking that dang bed down seeing how much as a hassle it was to put up. That bed will live and die in our house.

I only gave this bed 3 stars because of the difficulty of assembly. The directions are very unclear and not all pieces are labeled which resulted in assembling snd disassembling several times…very frustrating! Then when we thought we were almost done one of the legs was missing screw holes, so could not be assembled. Customer service responded immediately and replaced the piece. It is very nice once assembled and our grandson loves it!

This bunk bed should've taken about 2 to 3 hours to put up, but because the instructions where incorrect it took me and two different people 6 hours and two days to put up these bunk beds, what a pain in my whole body. Skip Step 4 and go straight to step 5. Trying to get the metal poles in the side didn't work on step 4 so instead we skipped to step 5 and put the two ends of the bunk bed and top parts together, but didn't fully tighten the bolts until all the poles where securely in. Once that was done, the process went better. 6 hours though that was ridiculous. Good luck to everyone else putting these bunk beds together.
