I used this end mill for an aluminum project that I needed to knock out without the use of coolant. The coating really helped mill not to load up while using with trim router since feed and speed can really vary doing it manually. The quarter inch shaft fit perfect in collet and runout seemed to be true, but no real way of checking on portable router. No vibration was detected while in use and chips were mostly uniform and not discolored even without coolant. End mill seemed to cut just as well at end of project as the start and upon closer inspection of cutting surface showed no chipping or dulled edges. I would imagine with coolant you could really make the chips fly without worry. Overall a great end mill for asking price. This vendor will definitely stay on my go to list for cutting tools.

Perfect for jewelry work that I do, very material removal rate for its size, cutting edge has held up well so far too. Probably be ideal for other small-diameter projects like PCB work too.
