Hardware Essentials Utility Handrail Brackets support wooden handrails. Handrail brackets allow for handrails to be installed at a desired angle. Maximum spacing between brackets is 48". Wall studs are needed for handrail brackets to be installed properly. Tools required: marking pencil, power drill, 3/32" and 7/64" drill bit, and a handheld screwdriver.

Used to replace a broken bracket on my basement railing. The bracket itself was sturdy, but included screws were cheap and quickly stripped. I used the screws that were on my original bracket.
