About this item

  • 1/4'' x 656' Fish Tape Fiberglass: Cable length: 656 ft/200 m; Cable diameter: 1/4''(6 mm). The guiding line is long enough for distance work. It is made of epoxy fiberglass (inner) and high-density ABS (outer), which can keep its shape under the pressure of 10KN.
  • Strong Bending Property: The minimum bending radius: 12 inch/300 mm. Cable density: 210 g/m. Because of its exceptional bending strength, it is firm enough to push through walls and ceilings without breaking. The bracket is designed with a brake level for controlling the speed.
  • Durable Iron Reel Stand: The bracket is welded by high-hardness iron, sturdy and durable, with functional compression resistance capacity. It is non-conductive and corrosion-resistant. The frame with a triangular base is stable enough to stand outdoor.
  • Compact & Portable: The fiberglass wire cable is compact, light-weight, and easy to move. It is easy to carry with a top handle for moving freely. It has the advantages of time-saving, labor-saving, improved work efficiency, etc.
  • Various Applications: The fish tape is perfect for use in telecommunication, electrical, wall and floor conduit, walker duct, and utility installations, which suits your different needs. It is an excellent assistant tool for traction and guideline in the pipeline.

For anyone curious, it will work in smaller pipes but it will, eventually, also break. Additionally, it is possible to use one of these even without a head. 1" EMT is the smallest i have consistently done that is below the 13" bend radius. Mine has broken twice but is still very long and mostly usable. The handle isn't friendly to my sally hands but it is replaceable. It is light enough to carry around but a set of 4 locking wheels would be nicer.

Used it to re-string a half full 2in conduit, 350ft with a junction at about 150ft. Worked perfectly and cut the job time down to about an hour, which basically paid for the tool on the first job.

Useless product. False advertisement, only good for straight runs. If there is slight bend, it gets stuck. Not for conduit fishing with bend over 50 degree. Too stiff to bend on its own inside conduits.Very disappointing product.NOT RECOMMENDED

Used this to pull in fish tape for a 600' pull. It worked very well and the price was right!

It works ok for most uses. I had problems getting it to push the whole length (200 meters, 650 feet) through a 4 inch pipe. It’s a little too flimsy for that length of larger diameter pipe I guess. It pushed a lot better through 650 feet of 3/4 inch pipe. It does not have changeable heads and that may have helped a little if I was able to screw a ball type head on the end for the 4 inch pipe, I don’t know.
