It's a good stand and sturdy for the price.It's a low profile stand and I needed one that would be higher. But made well.

I am not particularly a Ludwig fan, but looking for a snare stand that was not too expensive. I had tried the cheapos; they were not worth it. This Ludwig is impressively sturdy and adjustable. It is perfect for at home. I cannot testify to road worthy, since I am not playing out now. Very happy with this!

This snare stand seems to be lower than some others but to be fair I'm using it to support a drumKat midi controller which is only about 2 inches thick compared to a standard snare so I had to build a box for it to sit on. If I were looking for a snare stand I'd advise checking out the local music shops.

This is just exactly what I expected from Ludwig. A quality built product that will complement my drum set and provide me with years of solid value. This is a great stand with easy adjustments and holds my 14" X 8.5" snare firmly and securely. I would recommend this stand for any snare application.

Sturdy solid and well made. Heavy duty stand and non sliding rubber feet. Go order this and you will not be disappointed.
