No assembly required, was able to open the package and fill it up. Made of felt material and electric bands. The bands will stretch over time but it looks great and is sturdy for now. Helps to neatly store the headbands so they are visible.

I just put up this hanger and used it to organize my ever-growing headband collection. It is definitely a big improvement over having them in a pile on the floor! I am pleased with this hanger; it is exactly what it's advertised to be, and the fabric seems thick and sturdy. I like that the color is neutral, so it doesn't clash with my colorful headbands. I was able to fit both thicker fabric headbands and thin metal ones in the slots, so it is versatile as well. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. I would buy this again.

The felt is stiff, which is both a plus and con. Obviously you want the felt to be stiff so you know it won't fall apart and break easily however this does make it sort of hard to unfold and stay straight. Maybe using an iron with a damp cloth overtop might help this issue. Otherwise it's exactly as pictured (we got the pink one) and does the job well - stitching is well done no complaints there.
