I wasn't sure what to expect here, but I am very impressed with the quality and utility of this pin display. it works well with different types of fasteners, it holds many pins, and it's great for "bulk" display. It will work with oversized pins, but you have to make it work -- it will block off multiple slots for the one pin, but I think that's self-evident.I think the real trouble will be for "mid sized" pins, if I can say that, not the ultra large pins that are obviously oversized, not the standard small lapel pin or whatever size you'd call that, but the more modern collector's pins that tend to be just a tiny bit too large for something like this. It may just depend on the pins in your collection whether this works for what you had in mind. Skipping every slot might work, like a checkerboard basically, but that's up to you.It is important to know these are flexible, and they're designed to be exhibited sort of hanging down (with the weight of pins, that shouldn't be hard to get it to hang down). It could be modified to fit in a different format like a frame or something, but that's the only limitation or concern -- and that's really just an issue where maybe this isn't the right product for you if that's not right. Or you could go rogue and just ignore the "spots" for the pins entirely.Others have expressed concern about the leather string / strap whatever it is, holding up the mat, I'm not sure I have any worries about that. My pins also wouldn't break, falling down onto a carpeted floor, I can't see anything worrisome there anyway. Worst case, I repalce the strap, and if I were worried, I'd just preemptively replace it now.

Too thick for pins. Had a hard time putting pins through and worried about breaking my pins.

I really like these pin boards. They are much easier to move and the pins stick well. I would highly recommend them.

This works well for our Disney pin collection but I do wish it had a little more structure to it and was less floppy. We have it tacked down at the bottom to keep it from fraying outwards away from the wall. Again, it works for our pins but I probably wouldn’t order these again.

I received MIInaps pin boards black . I have been collecting enamel pins and button pins for years and my collection is getting out of hand. Time to reorganize. I decided to use one board for my enamel pins and the second board for my button pins. I placed some on each board to start the ball rolling. The button pins were a little awkward to close, it just took time. The enamel pins I have 2 options -- placing them to the right of the slit or the left of the slit. This was easier. I love the neutral black color of the fabric because the pins "pop" . The fabric is durable, thick and stiff.I can not wait to finally display my entire pin collections on these pin boards. I am, however, concerned about the rope that is supposed to hold the weight of 170 enamel pins; I plan to reinforce it with a second cord to be certain.
