I love having the option of switching out my bobbins in a flash! The magnetic closure works very well, there is no having it come apart in the middle of a project. The only downside would be that it isn't a small shuttle. Probably if you're going to do a project that requires two shuttles, your second shuttle should be something else because two of these will cling together and prevent your shuttle from untwisting when you let it hang down for that purpose.

I love this shuttle. You can put quite a bit of size 10 thread on the shuttle!
