This is the best slicer I’ve ever used. It cuts very consistently and super thin. I also like the adjustable slice thickness option and the lock feature. The veggie holder makes me feel much safer too. Highly recommend, will be buying as gifts as well

I've been conned into buying expensive and annoying kitchen gadgets in the past. I've owned other mandolines that have so many parts to clean that I never use them.... this thing is perfect.You get the mandoline and the little finger protector and that's all you need, just clean your veggies and slice them straight into the bowl or whatever you are using - so many less dishes to clean.It's very simple to use - just be very careful with it (like any mandoline) go slow and steady and make sure you leave a solid inch between your fingers and the blade as your veggie gets smaller. Always switch to the hand tool once you get that low and slow way down at the end - I'm not wasting any veggies at all by going super slow and carefully.Less dishes, less time wasted, and I'm eating more salad. It's amazing how one small tool can make a big impact. I tossed those 'fancy' mandolines in the donation bin after I got this

I didn’t know how much I needed this piece until I purchased it. It is compact, easy to use, and perhaps most important of all, easy to store. I have a much larger one that includes pieces I never use, and it just sits in the back of a cupboard because it takes up too much space. This one is sturdy, yet small enough to fit in a drawer so it is easily accessible. It does a beautiful job of slicing even wide vegetables, and I appreciate the gripper to keep my hands safe. It is definitely a very useful piece.

This mandolin is sharp and slices food quickly. I like the choice of making different slice widths which makes this tool versatile in food prepping. The sliding piece to select slice width, moved easily to select what width I wanted. Initially, I was concerned that it would not hold in place while using the tool, but it stayed securely in place throughout its use. It took practice using the food holder when slicing food but is a great accessory to prevent cutting fingers when using mandolin. It is also easy to clean. Highly recommend this product.
